Is it possible to print out a list of all my resources so that when I want to shop I can know what I have and don't have covered. For instance not individual books in the Weslyan Bible Commentary just a list of the commentary?

May be upgrading to Windows 10 soon. Is Logos 5 and 6 compatible with it?

  • Re: Update will not install on Logos 5

It is not a really big deal - at least I think not. What are "Prerequisites" and why do they need to be updated? Is this keeping me from installing other updates to the system? Is it keeping me from using some features? I seem to be getting along just fine without them and frankly I really don't want to go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling

When I run the installer manually I get the same messages as before. I looked under - Documents-Logos log files and found neither a setup or an install log file so since it was full of small error logs I went ahead a zipped them all and will attach them. 2781.LogosIndexer.zip

  • Update will not install on Logos 5

Logos 5 tells me everytime I open it that "update is ready to be installed" If I click "YES" the Windows Installer opens and It is "preparing to install" Then after about 10 seconds, a Logos 5 message pops up that says "Logos 5 Prerequistes is already installed" Clicking OK (only option) brings up "The installation of the Logos Prerequistes did not

  • Back up of notes

One of the reasons I abandoned Quickvese for Logos was that Quickverse left notes behind and I had thousands of pages of notes. They have now all been transferred to Logos (one verse at a time of copying and pasting). I am now concerned about Logos Notes. I know that they are on the Cloud and can be shared among various devices, but Training Manuals

Thanks for the information. Much about Logos 5 is not very intuitive in my opinion and much is hide under the hood. I have completely read the large printed manual and still find somethings difficult.

  • Undo

Is there any way to UNDO a change in a note? Like undo in Microsoft word so if you mess up and type wrong you can click a button and it goes back to where you were. A few times I have been copying and pasting from Logos into a word document and accidentally hit paste instead of copy and the note I wanted is now gone for ever as far as I can tell. Is

Thanks for all the information. I see now where I had changed the setting and it is back to where I wanted it. Still concerned about not being able to back up and restore at will notes. I remember a year or so ago a company that the government shut down for having copy righted material on it in addition to many companies storing their data on it and

Forgot to say, I am wondering if in some way I switched the note from a file specific to New Kings James Version to one that is generic for all Bible translation, but can not figure how to check that and also not certain why new notes are not showing up in all versions of the Bible Then.

It sounds to me I have made a bad choice. I wanted an up to date Bible Study tool so I went with Logos 4 and started transfering my thousands of pages of files from Quick Verse (they abandoned notes before a Windows 7 compatible program came along). I am copying and pasting thousdands and thousands of notes - about to finish Exodus. BUT now the problem

  • Re: Adding note highlights to Bible on new computer

Actually I found the problem by accident - The notes were done on the laptop in the NEW KJV and I was looking for them in the KJV. I had tried the NEW KJV, but had it on a section of scripture that had no notes added. When switched to an area wihere there were notes, BINGO there are the highlights. Sorry for the hassle. Allen

  • Adding note highlights to Bible on new computer

I have redone my desktop computer with new mother board and much more. I have been adding notes in the interim to the KJV Bible - thousands of them attached to individual words (actually transfering them out of Quick Verse by copying and pasting 30 years of notes as a pastor). They are attached to individual words, verses and sometimes whole chapters

  • New Living Bible Download

I own the New Living Bible in my Logos 4 on my computer. I have recently bought a Samsung Galaxy and want to download it into the logos (already installed the app.) but every time I hit download it fails. Any idea what is happening? I have a good connection at a wifi so it is not a signal failure.

If USE INTERNET is on you say it will continue to sync. The question comes up as to how much data is syncing passing back and forth? If I can't control this, then I might easily over run my limit and be messed up for a day. Does the setting of time on AUTOMATIC DOWNLOAD UPDATES affect it also? Can I turn USE INTERNET off and use AUTMATIC DOWNLOAD UPDATE

Both AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD UPDATES and USE INTERNET are set to NO. I do not have time right now to deal with it, but will check it out tomorrow. Hopefully that will get things working. I will try one at a time or do it between 2:00 and 6:00 AM (free download time for Hughesnet). I will let you know it that fixes it. Thanks again for the help. Allen

I did install Libronix and I did syncronize as shown. I think that the problem maybe that somewhere down the line I might have turned off Syncronize in Logos 4. I remember that it took over 30 hours to install and ran my internet connection crazy - overloading my 500 megs per day download limit on Hughesnet. It finally got installed and then seemed

As I look more closely at your menus I think we are not talking about the same thing. You are showing menus that seem to be in LIbronix 3 - I am trying to get the books to show up and be usable in Logos 4.

My Help says I am using "Logos Bible Software 4.2 SR-2 (4.20.4.88280)" That would seem to be well beyond 3.0g? And my drop down menu does not look anything like the one you showed. Something seems to be wrong here somewhere. Are we talking about the same program?? Have I got the interface set wrong some how? I think I turned off autoupdate/sync because
