How do you change the default search windows which populate when entering a bible reference in the "Go" box? It gets distracting when I have 5 window panes open with multiple tabs on each pane. I don't need 5 bible resources in the Bible pane. If I want to view another version, I can right click on my mouse and open it. It also eats up my system resources

  • Re: Biblia.com not syncing with Bible reading plan

My reading plans are not syncing from the Logos 4 desktop to biblia.com either. They do sync fairly quickly from biblia.com to the desktop though. If I check off a day on a bible reading plan on biblia.com, it will recreate the plan on my desktop, even though it has been deleted on the desktop. I wonder if biblia.com is syncing the reading plan from

  • Kindle Fire 8.9": 16GB or 32GB? or Nexus 7 32GB?

I am looking at the Kindle Fire HD tablets. I was leaning toward the Nexus 7 tablet, but after I saw the 8.9" Kindle Fire, I liked the extra screen size. My question is does Logos perform well on a Kindle Fire HD? and should I spend an extra $30 to get the extra memory? The Kindle hypes the Cloud storage, so I thought my storage needs on the device

Thanks for the information. After talking to a sales rep at Best Buy, I am leaning back toward the Nexus 7. He said I should look at the Nexus 10 if I want more screen. After checking the price, that one is out of my consideration. I remembered a review stating that the web browser in Kindle wasn't very good, and that the Nexus comes with the Chrome

Thanks for the information Gabe. I'm still wondering about the memory, 16GB or 32GB. My local Walmart only stocks the 32GB model Nexus 7. I can get it and a two year no questions asked warranty for about the same price as the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 16GB model at Best Buy. Jerry

  • Duplicate resource downloads

I have noticed on my android phone that each Logos app downloads its own resources. The Logos, Vyrso, and FaithLife apps seem to need to download each resource into each respective app. i.e. each app downloading the ESV Bible. Is this what is really happening, or do the Logos apps share resources? Thanks Jerry

  • Re: Upgrade from Logos 4 to Logos 5

I upgraded to the L5 Silver package from the L4 Scholars package. When the cross grade come out I paid another $6 and change for the remaining two data sets which were not included with the Silver upgrade. I teach an adult SS class and I find the extra features and resources helpful. I could have done without them, and never been aware of what I was

Thanks for the information. I found the link for maps. I don't have, or can't find the Sermon Starter Guide / Thematic outlining tool. Maybe it is in a higher package that I don't have.

Are you creating a note on the tablet and then viewing the note on the desktop? or the opposite? or tablet to tablet? I am confused as to the desired outcome. The link was not clear to me as to what they were illustrating. I can find no note reading function on the tablet which is comparable to the desktop window showing all of my notes as a list. If

My wife and I have two teenage girls. One is 17 and the other 13. My wife and I each have i5 notebooks which handle Logos software requirements. My children share a low end Celeron powered laptop. I would like to set up a Faith-life study group within my family, so that each of us have separate log in accounts. One that allows my children to have an

  • Re: Bid Now!!--Revelation Classic Commentary Upgrade

I have seen several of these "Upgrades" on the Classic Commentary series. Are they just more content being added from more recent public domain titles, or they just a continuation of titles which were not as desirable on the first go round? I bid on the original Classic Commentaries and Studies on Revelation (27 vols.) But I had to cancel my pre-pub

I too watched the same video, becoming aware of the Themelios journals for the first time. After a little searching in the Logos forums, it appears that Logos is reducing their offerings in this category of titles. I see some benefit in having them. I would be disappointed if Logos did away with offering them and I missed my opportunity to get them

I purchased the Logos 4 manuals. At the speed that Logos was updating the features, I never was sure what part of the manuals were outdated. An electronic version could be updated at the same time the program sends out updates. I started with Libronix 3, then 4, then 5. I am now at Gold 5. Libronix 3 was a nightmare for me to use, so it didn't get used

I have invested several thousand dollars over the past 7-8 years in Logos. Started with a base Libronix package costing around $175 from CBD. Picked up 4 more of the pastor e-Study modules for around $15 ea. So I started with a good foundation of titles. Before Libronix 3, I used e-Sword. And after Libronix 3, I still used e-Sword. Libronix 3 was not

Thanks for all of the quick replies and information. I was wondering if my current Silver L5 bible dictionaries, concordances, etc. would be as useful, or if the AMG bundle have superior scholarship for my intended purpose. Or if the difference worth the $97 price tag. I seem to have a lot of redundant resources, although I know some are better and

Appreciate all the input. I have purchased the set. I watched the LearnLogos Webinar on the AMG Essentials before buying. It also had good points and I see how the Strong numbers in these resources provide much more than what I had. Thanks again
