I have had two crashes today. Crash 1. All Logo 4 disappeared. No on screen crash alert, no request to send anything, L4 just vanished. I had about five other programs running at the same time, but they were all fine. I restarted too quickly and lost the report that may or may not have had any details - sorry. Crash 2. L4 started laboring and continually

Thanks Kevin & Melissa, deleting the index files and having them rebuilt fixed the issue.

Not sure what is happening here. I have had someone suggest that the RAM has a fault, yet I have done a scan to check for faulty RAM and it comes up clean. Any further suggestions? 6558.Logos Log Files.zip
Dave, your memory is faulty (like mine!) MMmmmm. You can run Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool in Windows 7 to eliminate your hardware. Or you could run something like memtest http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
Hi Dave, How could you tell that I had a memory problem? Thanks.

Beta 7 installed well, runs well. However, it crashed while... 1. A customized passage guide was in use use 2. Was reading a hit that had been opened from the PG (Biblical Theo of the NT - Zuck) 3. A time lag of about a minute had passed before the crash 3. Only Nasb95 was opened at the time. 0246.Logos Log Files.zip

Steve, if you open a search box using the magnifying glass on the toolbar and then search for anything using "Entire Library" as selection, you will get a return with "My Content" at the top of the list. My Content contains hits from your note files, Sermon file and clippings. I have quite a lot of info there and would like to have it available for

I have a repeatable lock up when trying to change the "Grammatical Relationships" section as seen in the graphic below. Selecting "verses" freezes the program and I have to "End Task" and restart Logos.

It seems that "My Content" can only be searched by using "Entire Library" (other than the PG). Is it possible for this to be made available for any specific collection search? Or failing that, is there a way to make a collection from "My Content"? I suppose I could make my own PG for this, but I prefer it to be available to the search box as are our
I would say that you own the Cascadia from being in the secret beta but you might want to confirm the licence with Logos. If that is so, rebuilding the index would be the only way to resolve the L4 issue.
Actually, Dave, I followed your advise on deleting those three resources and I only have one of them still showing

Downloaded well. Installed well. Given quite a workout and has not crashed at all so far. A noticable difference in speed. An absolute pleasure to use. Thanks to all in the development team. One suggestion I have is with the note file drop down list in any resource. Can it be that once I select or de-select a note, the scroll bar stay at that position
This is a known issue with the Beta... http://wiki.logos.com/4.0b_Beta_3
Thanks Kevin. I actually read that yesterday and forgot all about it - der.

Selecting another Bible from the parallel resources drop down box for Bibles, returns any selected Bible to it's first page rather than the particular Scripture currently being used. Is anyone else finding this to be the case?

Conducted a BWS on "servant" (Rom. 14: 4 NASB 95). On the Greek graph, select the Greek "doulos" to get the list of verses (only one in this case) and then click on the heading of that list - "doulos" - to generate another BWS. It crashes the program soon after. 2656.Logos Log Files.zip
Why does searching from the context menu need to reset the search range? What if I wanted to search the Pentateuch for several different words in a row, launching each search from the context menu? Or should that scenario not be supported?
It seems to me that it is not so much a bug as a matter of software design
Does anyone know what exerpts.lbsexc is? It is the only resource with that extension.
I wondered about this resource download too. It was only a couple of meg, but it forced a re-index of my Library. I had no supplemental index so I cannot understand why it forced a re-index. The only thing I can think of is the fact

When doing a Bible word study say from the NASB 95 and one selects the lemma "pas" in Mk. 4:13 , how does one conveniently find this word
David, It took me a while to figure that you didn't want "pas" itself (which would be present in all sections) but the original verse Mk 4.13 !? When doing a Bible word study say from the NASB 95 and one selects the lemma "pas" in Mk. 4:13, how does one conveniently find this word in the "Grammatical Relationships" section? It would be super if the word/verse could be highlighted as such. From the list we could get this with the main section highlighted for example in yellow... Then after selecting

L4ab4 crashed on a basic search when selecting "next" to display further hits. The program is exceptional - worth it all. Thanks. 7450.Logos4.zip

B4 installed ok. Crashed at first trying to synchronize, but after a restart, it continued through the process. I was doing a Bible search and examining the hits in "Analysis" view when I experienced another crash. I believe it occurred when I dragged the second column to the top. Files attached. 7178.Logos Log Files.zip

L4b3 installed successfully and synchronized in about 15 mins.
