Where does that leave you?
Hi again Dave, Actually, it did, eventually, complete the indexing. I used a method you described from a previous post. I emptied the LibraryIndex folder (Bible Index had previously completed ok). I thought it best to reboot the system and not start any programmes and just let the indexer

We would appreciate it if you could follow the instructions in that post to run a hardware stress test (preferably overnight) to eliminate the possibility that faulty/overheating hardware is contributing to these

  • Logos 4.0d B1 Crash & Indexer Crash

B1 crashed when trying to close a resource panel (log attached). Indexer was force started with the update to 4d. It completed a Bible index. Next time I started 4d it started another re-index of the resources. About an hour through, the indexer just disappeared. Restarted L4 and indexing recommenced, but crashed (log attached). Note I was using the
Do you get the status bar tooltip at the bottom of the panel when you hover over the surface text with Inline disabled?
Yes I do, but the information is limited. The feature I am suggesting was available in Libronix.

  • Pop-up Suggestion

It would be very helpful if we were able to configure our Bibles so that when the arrow hovers over a word, a pop-up displays the NASB Concordance or Louw-Nida entry for that word. The ability is already here as the graph below shows, however, it must be in Interlinear display for this to happen. Perhaps we can have another setting in the "Display"

  • Indexing after install

I am grateful for the help I have had in the past on indexing and it seems that I had had some corrupt or missing files in the system. I nuked the laptop and reinstalled from the system recovery disk. It solved my problem of a crashing indexer and I was able to allow it to index with 4.0c SR1. However, it only must have needed to do a Bible index from
The log shows an error on KJV1900.logos4. Try deleting it from the resource folder and starting L4.
Thanks Dave. Did that, downloaded RC4, any new resources (it re-downloaded KJV1900.logos4) and re-tried to index. Unfortunately, it crashed again, but this time I have a crash file. I hope one of the developers spots

  • What is the point please?

I conducted a morh search for "aner" as can be seen in the picture. In the Analysis view it showed multiple entries that has confused me somewhat. Has the multiple entries like here been discussed before? I think it has been, but I have not been able to locate it. Can anyone give me an explanation about the multiple entries? Thanks.

I haven't noticed this before, but there is no option to embed page numbers, nor any window revealing what page your on when reading through the resource. Will this resource be updated soon? I discovered that this was missing when some reference book referred to a page in "The God who is There". Needless to say I could only find it through the search

After an 800 meg download today, indexing was started. It ran for about an hour, but crashed. I had closed L4 so that I was not accessing any books that were being indexed. • Stable: So Far So Good

Prior to the release of RC1, L4 would crash at least about twice a day. In off-line mode I never experienced any crash. Since the release of the RC versions, I have been operating in On-line mode and have not had any crashes (except one after I first installed RC1, but none since). I have given L4 a fair work out over the last couple of days and there
