• Re: Resources stuck with status of "In production" for two years! When will they be ready?
Well, sure. Since they're all FREE. And the 20 volume series too:
Absolutely - it's very generous of Ligonier Ministries and FaithLife to make these resources available at no cost. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. Given that they're doing this pro bono, I'm not expecting FaithLife to do a lot of tagging to add value to

If it would get these out more quickly, I'd be happy with them in ebook format rather than full Logos research editions.

  • Re: Wide and "Crazy" vs Narrow Libraries

I take what I'd describe as an intermediate approach. I've gone deep on the "Standard" packages over the last decade or so. I've also made some targeted use of the smaller denominational packages to fill out specific gaps in my library. So for instance, I've bought some of the Orthodox and Eastern Rite packages for resources on the church fathers, the
The modern critical resources are quite important to get a balanced picture. The research is ongoing, but it looks like Islam developed from Arab Christianity when it detached from basic Christian beliefs at some point. That could lead to some interesting views: when a muslin becomes a Christian, s/he just returns to her/his

  • Re: Why so few popular highlights?

I tended to see a lot of popular highlights in the books I studied in seminary. At first that surprised me, but then it started making sense. If something is an assigned reading for several schools, then you're going to have a large number of students studying it and marking it up - and likely highlighting the points that their professors have emphasized
We have a support article that either describes similar behavior mentioned in this thread, or the same. https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412237977485-Text-Appears-Stretched
Based on a very quick test, that seems to have worked for me. I find it baffling that an audio library would affect display rendering

The discussion of display issues in this thread may be relevant.
Hi EastTN, I've replied to this thread asking for more information. Since these changes were made on 9.10, and you are reporting your issues on 9.9.
Got it - sorry for the distraction.

I am having a problem with the passage guide. Here's a screenshot: I'm running Windows 10 Pro on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X desktop with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics card. I'm using Logos 9.9.0.0016. The last time I reported this, I had my screen scaled to 125%. This last screen capture is after resetting the scaling to 100%.

I don't know if it's related, but I'm having a similar problem with the Factbook. I'm running Windows 10 Pro on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X desktop with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics card. I'm using Logos 9.9.0.0016. So far the factbook and the guides are the only resources that I've noticed the problem with, so it's annoying but not a showstopper. The RTX 3070

  • Re: I spy Logos 6 Legacy Libraries

I've found NAC useful. Like any set, the individual volumes vary in quality. But overall, I'd describe it as an intermediate commentary. I find it a bit more technical than the typical homiletic commentary, but more helpful in preparing lessons to teach in our local congregation than most critical commentaries. So for me the series hits a sweet spot
Resource inputs are now stored in the Notes tool, so you have full control over them from there. You can get to the note by clicking the little note indicator to the right of the resource input. To bulk delete, filter notes in the Notes tool by the workbook resource in question, then you can select all and delete

  • Re: What are the top bugs or incomplete features that make your Logos life a pain?

One that drives me crazy is the inability to delete my answers out of a textbook so I can work through it again. That can't be that difficult to program, and to include an appropriate "are you sure" process so it won't happen accidentally. But being able to re-use a book would greatly enhance its value.
