With you all in prayer.

At 65 years of age I use a 15 inch and find it usable. I don't have the greatest vision and would find a 13 inch difficult to work with. For longer sessions I use a 27 inch external monitor and find it quite lovely.

My library is about 5700 volumes. Most of the choices were intentional based on seminary training, interest, denominational affiliation, and hard-copy replacement though I've picked up a few in denominational collections that offer little and that I have little interest in. My wife encouraged me to get rid of the heavy, hard copy books, and was supportive

I'd had Logos 8 Academic Professional so version 9 of the same was not a steep upgrade. I was happily surprised to find that it included Hermeneia, and bought it immediately as I wondered about the possibility that the collection might be revamped as collections sometimes are. I logged out of the Logos site just to check, and as you said, it's been

An additional resource that is replete in the application of humanism to modern life is Steven Pinker's "Enlightenment Now: The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress (2018 Viking)." An additional very good volume in this vein would be Hans Rosling's "Factfulness. (2018 Flatiron)." Both books make an extraordinary case for optimism regarding

I participated in a second survey either at the end of last week or the beginning of this week but have not received a code either. About a month ago I participated in a survey but used a code posted on this forum. Would someone at FL please send me the coupon code for the more recent survey?

My experience with WBC is that the quality is not consistent across every every volume and that there is more value in purchasing the better volumes individually when they come on sale. Some people like sets, and I have purchased a couple of them, but I generally prefer to focus on individual volumes that come well recommended in reviews. There may

I have shifted my library, incrementally, to a digital one. I recently hit the tipping point where I mostly rely on digital and feel like I'm accustomed enough to work with it. Dead tree readings are still more pleasant but I can't argue with the searchability, and portability, of a digital library. My wife is happy that I'm able to cull books from

This may be the link you want: it has the discount codes. https://connect.faithlife.com/get-started ...then, click on "ebooks."

I'm very grateful for Logos as I've been able to greatly reduce the number of paperbacks and hardcovers that have to be packed in future moves. Reading off a screen was a bit of a transition for me (as was the switch to progressive bifocals) but it's my preference now. The information available in a few clicks was a huge search formerly, with books

Quite right. I apologize. I saw them broken out individually with prices and failed to check further.

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned it but individual works are now available. https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=c+s+lewis&Author=1804%7cC.+S.+Lewis&redirecttoauthor=true

I mainly utilize Logos on my MacBook, and on my iPad. I use Logos for searches, study, and reading but I also have a smaller collection of hardcover and paperbacks in a few bookcases. I mainly hang on to certain volumes that have sentimental value or are not duplicated in Logos. For example some of my "real" books were signed by the author in seminary

I have not used Accordance but I find Logos runs quite well on my 2011 MacBook Pro I7 with a SSD and 16GB ram. I don't notice any lags but the fans speed up noticeably while Logos is indexing.

This is a great win-win solution and it is much appreciated.

Having not received the explanatory email/coupon code, or a response to a query about the email, I'm nagging one more time. Feeling frozen out by more than our northern Alberta weather.

Chris, Have not received a email yet. Eric

Monthly sales on various volumes may run less but I couldn't pass up R. H. Charles on Revelation. The I. Howard Marshall volume is also tempting me.

I think the price difference between the two makes the larger size a better choice. I have a 500 gb in my macbook and am at 80% of capacity but do plan to install my old hard drive as a second drive. You'll want your system software on the SSD and unless you have a second hard drive you'll quickly fill the SSD with music, photos, saved web articles
