I use this on the regular program on my Mac to narrow my search results, but is there a way to do this on the iPhone app yet? I have dictionaries and commentaries selected to only come up in passage, word, and exegetical searches and I would like this option to be made available on my iPhone.

Used to post a lot on here, but got busy with too many other things. And my mid 2009 Macbook Pro 2.26 GHZ Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM is sssslllloooowww. It has the Mac wifi problem where some models get very slow internet. Plus my computer is old and I rarely use Logos on it because it's just a dog. So I've decided to get a new computer and get a Logos

Haven't been on this forum in a while, but I found a link on Michael Bird's website to some videos on how to use Logos 5 and I have a couple of questions as a result. 1. Can you customize the power lookup so that only certain things pop up? I just don't need every link in blue to show up on my power lookup. 2. How can I disable the little pencil icon
-
Or Logos could just put settings: collections back into the topic guide template
-
I don't seem to have the collection option under definition.
-
From what I can see in the template, you can't edit the settings for "definition" ahead of time. Am I wrong?
-
Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered. I just got L5 today. I made my own Topic Guide. I have a collection for all my dictionaries that I want to come up in the definition when I click on settings. But that doesn't get saved once I open and close my topic guide. How do I make sure the settings get saved?
-
I thought you had to do the minimal crossgrade to get L5. I totally missed the earlier post where you said it was free. I guess my thought was that I would possibly lose some features in L4 that I would not have in L5 if I just go the engine and not the minimal crossgrade.
-
Prioritization, that's it. Thanks! I don't use Logos much anymore so I forgot about that. I want to go to L5, just can't afford the upgrade right now.
-
I forgot how to do this. How do you make the books in a collection in the passage guide come up in alphabetical order? Say all my commentaries.

[quote user="Sean Boisen"] The Topic Guide has two distinct sections that search topical information across your library: The Definition section searches those resources that we've manually assigned to different topics (this is what MJ means by the LCV). It currently searches some other resources too, but i expect that will change back to the more specific

The edit button seems to be busted right now. I meant to say I wanted all my dictionaries topically tagged, but only some are.

Some dictionaries and topical guides. That's all I ever wanted.
-
Or something like L4 has where when you click on your library, you can see newly added resources.

[quote user="Mark Smith"] [quote user="Jeremy"] I have been beating this horse dead ever since L4 was introduced. So I'll say it again: in Logos 5 will there be a topic study search that searches through all of your books or collections. In L4, there was a topic study option, but it did not search through all of your books. Just a selected few. I don

There was one on L4 too. And it mocked me every time I used it. It screamed, "You have thousands of books and a software program designed by the world's leading software engineers, but we have decided not to allow all of your books to be populated into the topic search. Ha ha!" I guess my point was does the new one actually work. Same stupid problem
