I wish we could start a thread where any new books that are added to the iPhone and iPad are mentioned so I know to look for them. I have been beating this horse dead ever since L4 was introduced. So I'll say it again: in Logos 5 will there be a topic study search that searches through all of your books or collections. In L4, there was a topic study option, but it did not search through all of your books. Just a selected few. I don't know why they didn't implement it. So, is that

Is the Bible Sense Lexicon Tool attempting to overcome James Barr's word-concept idea, especially as he saw it in the early versions of the TDNT and in word studies in general?

Sorry to be late to the party. I was a beta tester for Logs 4, but got no invitation to Logos 5. Wa wa wa! I really haven't been around here much lately anyway. Is there a link to a page that shows what books you will get in addition to what you have if you switch from Gold L4 to Gold L5?

I upgraded to the iPhone 4S and iOS6 today and Logos is much faster. This is just a guess, but I would say 2-3 times faster. I'm sure the updated app helps too. Nice work everyone!

This is an issue that has festered for FAR too long. If someone has dictionaries that are available on a mobile device, they should come up in the word study guides. Very very few English and Greek dictionaries come up. It has been years since the iPhone app was made and it really needs to be fixed. In addition, Logos for iPhone should be able to allow

Any news on the generalized topic search front? Specifically, letting the main topic search run through all your dictionaries or a collection? I included a picture that shows a word search vs the topic search and how many more hits I get with the word search.

Is there any way to save a certain spot in a book on my iPhone and come back to it later like a bookmark? Also, will Logos be able to sync my collections on my desktop to my iPhone so that I can do a Passage Guide or Word Study in certain books only? And why can't the iPhone app do a Word Study with all of my dictionaries that are available on my iPhone

That is one I am thinking about. This next one, "How Did Christianity Begin?: A Believer and Non-Believer Examine the Evidence" (Michael F. Bird and James Crossley) looks really good too. Logos should publish it.

I am looking for a Logos book or a book that Logos should publish that is more academically inclined and deals with Jesus, the gospels, or apologetics. I lead a small group Bible study at my church and a few guys are looking to get deeper. We are looking at a few books like Richard Bauckham's "Jesus and the Eyewitnesses" or Larry Hurtado's "Lord Jesus

When you click on passage guide, Logos automatically runs the search for the last passage I tried. The problem is that I don't want that to happen automatically. I would prefer not to wait for Logos to run the search automatically

Is my update ever going to get past being stuck at 151.5 MB? This is the third beta in a row where it has been stuck. The download icon just periodically pops up. Weird.

The ribbon has gone from 3 options to 2. I think this occurred in the last beta too.
Could you provide a few more details?
No sure if this has been discussed yet, but I wonder if Logos could make a way to not fall into the James Barr's word/concept fallacy when doing word studies. When doing a word study, if synonyms could come up as part of the word study check boxes that would be neat.

My ribbon only gives two options now
