Regarding the book in honour of Douglas Moo, a look at the sample pages shows the table of contents, which makes clear which essays are by which authors.

Depending on your keyboard, you will need to press either the function key on its own, or Fn + Function key. On older laptops the function keys did not need any other keys to be pressed to get them to work as function keys, while they changed function (e.g. volume up, volume down) if another key modified their use. It is more common now for volume,

What type of keyboard are you using? Is it a standard large format standalone keyboard that is used with a PC, or are you using a laptop? If using a laptop, might you need to press the Fn key also to get the function keys to work properly?

Hi Charlene, I can still use Ctrl + Shift + F9 with Word 2016 on Windows 10 without a problem. Might it be a background utility that remaps function keys, or are function keys assigned to other functions within Word on your computer? I had that problem once when I had reassigned rarely used keys using AutoHotKey.
Perhaps you could provide a new keystroke, Ctrl+Alt+L, that would bring the existing floating Library window up to the top if one exists, and open a new one if not.
This is indeed a frustration at times. That suggestion would be great, providing the old as well as new ways of bringing up a single window or a new one
Hi John, I am sorry to hear that you have had trouble with this. Do you see an improvement if you remove one of these downloaded books and then download it again? If so, please do the same for other downloaded books as well.
Hi Joe. That seems to have worked. It's not quite so bad scrolling now. Thanks.

Hi Joe, sorry I didn't see your posts as I didn't get an email about responses. I'll check those asap and get back to you. Thanks

Also, when touching the screen, I end up in an interminable cycle of entering an edit for a note, and touching the screen again and again on white space never gets out of the cycle. Nor does pressing the back button on the device. It is nearly impossible to use it live in front of people.

On different tablets I've struggled with the screen freezing when trying to scroll through a few different book resources that I have already downloaded. It regularly freezes for between 5-20 seconds, and then allows me to scroll. It occurs both when I go to the resource which is already open or when I open a new resource. That delay is unacceptable
Thanks for the report. I'll ask the team to look into it. I'm sorry it's not working as it should.
Thanks Phil. That'd be really helpful if it worked again.

I've got this problem on a few Android devices that I have had to use in the past month or so. Has anyone else had this problem?
Glad you have it working - but sounds as though something strange had happened!
Yeah, I had been working on with Logos open and actively using it on and off for some hours, so it wasn't just a startup issue. I have a vague recollection now that in the past I had a similar problem with not being able to see the
Adding to Graham's answer: this sounds very much like L8 actually making the highlights, but just not displaying those. Please look into the Visual Filters menu (the three dots that show as a pyramid) that manages display. It could be that your old highlights belonged to Notebooks that are turned on for display, but you new highlights
-
Hi, I've not been able to make new highlights in different resources, including my main Bible that I have many highlights in. Existing highlights appear fine. But I simply cannot make new highlights, either using the shortcut keys or by clicking on the selected highlighter in the highlighting pane. I see from a web search that this problem has occurred
When Logos creates a Custom Reading Plan from a Passage List, it's not possible to exclude days. Workaround: A user in the German forum put the same very obvious reference (such as Gen 1:1 ) into the passage list to let Logos create the reading days correctly, then deleted those reading days from the final plan. I'm trying to generate a custom reading plan (from a passage list) for use Mon-Fri. I can create a reading plan from pre-defined plans and choose what days to read on for those. But I don't seem to be able to choose what days to read on for a custom reading plan. Am I simply missing something, or is this not possible for custom reading plans?
The days of the paper concordance are numbered.
Hi Bruce, I was surprised to read a few years ago that young people prefer paper books to ebooks. They prefer the aesthetics of handling a paper book. I don't remember where I read it, though. But it ties up with my observation since then too. They are especially fond
