I believe the author was an Anglican.
Correct. The author was Anglican, and the book covers Anglican, Catholic and Orthodox councils up to the nineteenth century--everything from Aberdeen to Zella. It should be a handy reference for anyone interested in Church history and the history of doctrine.

I'll ask whether this is actually what was intended. As I noted, the function appears to be the same as %narrow-intersect% in Libronix. If the reason for this is really just to exlude overly broad chapter-level ranges, then it seems like references that specify a verse and only span a single chapter are precise enough to be included by "~".
-
The "Reference" is just the active reference for this section, not something specific to your selection, which appears to be tagged and functioning correctly as a Bible reference. From comparing this to surrounding references, I think the actual reason these aren't being caught is that "~" excludes references that span chapters. I'm assuming this is

This appears to just be an error. We're working on fixing the problem.
I assume they gave you permission for the Sunday Lectionary at some point?
Yes, so I'm optimistic that we'll eventually get the daily readings as well.

We produce our (copyrighted) lectionaries in cooperation with the copyright holder, so what we are waiting for here is the proper permission from the USCCB. I'll discuss it again with our Publisher Relations department to see where the request stands.

This is the update to the lectionary resources that I proposed here . The updated resources were published in late December. I'm glad to hear that you're pleased with it.

I don't have a timeline at this point, but we already have plans to produce the NABRE.
Is this lectionary out to Logos yet? Can't find it anywhere. Thanks for the update
The Book of Common Prayer Daily Office Lectionary can be found here .
Is it possible to correct this in future versions?
The answer is "we're working on it". The software is already capable of handling most of these cases, but it requires adding a lot of data to old books. Newer books (within the last 6 months or so) should work already, and we're working our way through the library
I imagine that a link to the ECF will work on either the "Protestant" or "Catholic" version, and if it doesn't it should.
Yes, it will utilize data types for patristic references that will work with either version.

We've addressed the cause of this problem. You should be able to get the correct data by restarting Logos.
Louis, this seems to also have stripped the NIV 84 of its description (About) text. Oops: just restarted L4 and now have lost About text for both versions.
We've addressed the cause of this problem. You should be able to get the correct data by restarting Logos.
What surprises me is that it seems to be named identically to the 1984 version as per below:
We've now addressed this with a metadata update to the 1984 version. It's now listed as "New International Version (1984)" and "NIV84".

Anthony, Have you tried searching the "Heading Text" field, or, if you're running the beta, the "Large Text" field? We've got a ways to go, but, as I describe in this post , we're making progress toward implementing what you're looking for using these fields.
-
The good news: We're working on this. New and updated resources we've published in the last six months or so should have their headings tagged with the "Heading Text" field. You can restrict your search to this field by clicking "All Text" in Search and selecting "Heading Text" under "Search Fields" or by putting "heading:" in front of your search term

Ebbe, The resource has not yet been published to our servers. I think you should be able to get another copy from Sture Nordquist, so that you can complete your testing. Thanks.
