  • Standard Publication Style Is Missing From Copy Bible Verses Menu of Styles

L4 Mac just keeps getting better and better. May I suggest a tweak that would make it even better? I write a number of manuscripts each year for publication in various volumes. I noticed that in the style choices available for Copy Bible Verses, none of the styles match the correct form used in most publications. The screen shot below shows more clearly

  • Has Reading View Been Removed From B3?

I was working today and noticed that reading view is not available as an option on any of the panels. I am hoping that this feature has not been removed, but it is not showing up anywhere in my copy. Is this a known issue?

  • Re: At 27 Alphas how many more before we get a Beta label?

Does anyone know when the Omega version will be ready? Relax. I'm just kidding. Actually, I am directing a Christian camp for teens this week, and there is no wi-fi. This is torture to know that Beta is so close to my Mac and yet so far!

  • Question About The Speed of Authoring New Notes

This is not a complaining post--just an inquisitive one. I have never used Notes on the Windows side of L4, so I don't know how to compare the speed of authoring notes in Mac vs. the speed of the Windows version. This may be a known issue, but in authoring notes in L4M, there is a noticeable and persistent delay between typing letters, words, and even

For some reason, I am not seeing the button to which you refer. Where is this button for the information panel? I have looked in my Preferences and clicked buttons all around the screen but have not located it yet. Thanks. BJC

  • Re: Biblical Places on Homepage

I have wondered the same thing. I had wondered whether the home page for L4 Windows and L4 Mac are the same. If so, I thought maybe they had already worked through all the place images over time and just had not got back to cycling them through again. Then again, maybe the content for the Mac homepage is designed differently. As a Bible Geography teacher

Working for me, but with at least two of you having the same difficulty, I must be one of the lucky ones.

  • Re: INTERLINEAR GONE?

Fred, If you float the panel, or go to full reading view, does the button show up? I know that for me, when I type in a passage on the main page and click "Go," the default layout does not make the panel wide enough for the button to show up. However, when I float the panel or go to full reading view, the button is visible. This may not be your issue

I had this problem the other day, but it went away after rebuilding the index. Have you tried to rebuild your index?

  • Re: Copy and Paste erratic in Alpha 24

You wrote, "Command-C sometimes works, but often does nothing. This is just a bug, plain and simple." If it is a bug for Command-C to work intermittently, somehow the bug didn't bite me. I compiled 71 pages of research notes in a Word document last night, by using Command-C and Command-V. It worked like a charm every time. You also suggested that "when

  • Help Me Find The Help Panel

If I am reading the release notes correctly, a new help panel has been implemented. But I can't seem to find it. Can someone send me a screen shot or written description of where I need to look to find it? Please and thank you.

  • Re: How do I Undo or Delete a Highlight

If I'm not mistaken, on a Mac it should be Command (CMD) +SHIFT+K. At least, this combo has worked for me.

  • Reproducible Crash When Scrolling Through The Apologetics Study Bible

This crash works every time--at least on my MacBook Pro. 1. Ran PG on John 3:16 2. Began scrolling downward in Apologetics Study Bible. 3. After scrolling a little ways downward, the program crashes. It just disappears. I have reproduced this crash repeatedly and it always cuts off as you scroll the material just past the comments on John 3:16. Logs

Just got home from church and found this news. So sorry for the inconvenience. Couldn't help but think of Matthew Henry's quote at a time like this. On the night he was robbed, he wrote: “I thank Thee first because I was never robbed before; second, because although they took my purse they did not take my life; third, because although they took my all

  • Re: Spacing in certain Greek fonts

Alan, This may not be it at all, but I am just curious. Is your program scaling set to 100% or is it possibly higher or lower? I was having some issues with the way things were showing up on my screen, and as soon as I followed Tom Philpot's advice to type a command in the terminal to set the scaling back to default, everything looked normal again.

Mr. Logos President, Bob Pritchett, I respect you, your office, and your unquestioned zeal to put out the best product possible. I realize that you have to juggle all kinds of projects and make tough decisions on which ones to pursue first. I realize it is a massive job, and with all the pre-pubs coming out, that wood pile, so to speak, of books waiting
