Thanks for the feedback. For me it looks like these videos launch windows media player in IE. I imagine if that isn't setup they won't do anything. I'll see if our team can find a better solution for playing them in IE.

We are aware of the issue and are considering options for a future Beta.

Have people been trying out footnote display in resources or for printing? You can turn them on in Program Settings. This will show footnotes inline when in paged view.

We added text scaling to the 4.5 Beta for a number of panels. Has anyone been trying it out? If you notice any clipped text or other issues please let us know. There are some issues we will not be able to fix immediately, but we hope this addresses some of the concerns people have about not being able to read small text in places like search results

As others have mentioned our current solution is to run the remove duplicate notes command. In 4.5 we will have a new synchronization framework for notes which will no longer have this issue.
Todd, why are they still showing up in the library, even though they have been deleted. They cannot be opened however.
I'm not able to reproduce an issue where they remain in the library even if they are deleted. If you can please start a new forum thread with details on how to reproduce that issue. It is possible
" Books compiled in the beta cycle will expire, at the latest, when 4.3 is shipped to the stable channel due to further changes that will be made."
This was related to the way we compiled books. It appears we didn't notify you all that during Beta 13 we made the final change to the format that required
I'd still appreciate some advice!
I guess I'm not sure what you mean. The best way to remove PB's is to delete them using the PBB tool via right click on a book.
Any word from Logos on the price for Personal Books yet?

Here's to hoping for affordable Personal books
We do not plan to charge for PBB. It will be free as in .
As the beta licence will soon expire I would appreciate advice on removing PB's and the PB Index
It's not mentioned in the release notes, but beta 7 imports Word's paragraph spacing, which makes a significant difference to readability.
We did make some improvements on paragraph spacing, but not enough to call it done. I think spacing on styles may not be respected yet. So we didn't want to put it in the release
affects only CBV changes?
Correct.
sync from stable 4.2 to beta 4.3 will not occur, but changes will not be lost?
A 4.2 install will no longer sync CBV style changes until it is upgraded to 4.3. Any changes you make on 4.2 will sync once that client is upgraded. [quote user="Dave Hooton
Why is Logos 4 compiled as a 32 bit application
Bradley has listed a few of the reasons we have not made the switch to 64bit in this post http://community.logos.com/forums/p/22045/167346.aspx#167346 .
It would be great if there was a Bob e-mail list or something.
Each person has a 'My Activity' section on their page. Bob's page is http://community.logos.com/members/2130/default.aspx . Also, you will find a link to an RSS feed next to 'My Activity' ( http://community.logos.com/members/2130/activities/rss.aspx )
Firstly let me say I love the "concept" of Logos. I also use a Mac because it is quick. I know it has been discussed many a time but is Logos going to improve significantly in the speed department? At the moment I don't use it as it always crashes, hangs etc... It's been a good thing in a way because it has meant I have

I wouldn't recommend it, we wouldn't make them Prerequisites if you didn't need them . I don't remember everything we install with the prerequisites. I know Fonts like SBL Hebrew are part of them and I think the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime as well.
