• Re: B7 Mac Freezing on Biblical Places

I have not been able to reproduce this, I see the crash in your logs, but don't know how you got to this state. Can you add any more details about what you had open before navigating to Biblical Places from the ESV? Was Biblical Places already opened when you used the context menu to goto Biblical Places (Lebanon)? Was there anything in your find filter

  • Re: BUG: Crash every time I try to delete a mytag

I was able to reproduce this with the release code, but have not been able to reproduce this with the beta code I've been working on. Coming in the next Beta is a switch from a table view to an outline view (to allow grouping) and in the switch I've made many changes and do believe this to be fixed with the new Beta code in how I am storing the backing

  • Re: BUG: Expand Bible Reference launches Logos for Windows in Parallels

Was Logos for Mac already running when you initially tried to expand a verse? The OS will try and launch the application if it is not running. I don't have Parallels, so don't know what is going on with that, but maybe the OS somehow thought to try and launch the windows version?

Yes, work has been done and will be available in an upcoming release, probably in Beta release before stable release and should be mentioned in the release notes. CMD+ALT+B works inside the Logos application and opens the Copy Bible Verses panel. I've also put together two items in the Mac Services menu to allow you to use Logos from any app utilizing

  • Re: Bug? Library reverts to top

Working on this now. I've found that this only happens when you have a filter and update the metadata. Which is exactly what you want to do, after you edit the tag, the metadata is updated along with the library index causing a refresh. As a work around, you can sort by the type column and scroll down to the items you want to edit, it should stay on

  • Re: L4 Mac not sync-ing library mytags

I don't understand what you mean? can you post an image of your library with no filter scrolled to show the "Ante-Nicene Volumes" in the image? Your data is all there, we're just not displaying it properly. We'll get it fixed Thanks for your help

  • Re: L4 Mac not sync-ing library mytags

Tim- Thanks for the images, they show me the problem area. The image of your library shows the complete set of tags "church_fathers, tagfix". I have been using the library information panel to add/remove/edit tags, not each individual resource information page. I will look into our Tag Editor on the Resource Information panel I don't think this is a
3. In L4M I verified that the tagfix tag sync-ed. The other tags did not come across. (I know I haven't gotten to your steps yet, I DID do them :-) ) Here is where things get strange though the tagfix tags were indented, as if they were the second tag in a series, even though the first tag was seemingly blank.
Tim,

  • Re: L4 Mac not sync-ing library mytags

Tim- I've looked at both of your LibraryCatalogSync databases and the data does appear to be sync'd, but we don't display the User Tags from these 'sync' data databases. I cannot tell from just these tables what is happening, but looks like we may have a sync problem getting the sync data into your Library Catalog itself. Can you pack up your current

  • Re: B2 Bug: Clear Mytag caused crash

Thanks Jack, I've been able to reproduce this and have written a bug. I don't have a fix yet, but will. I've gotten mixed results (no crash sometimes) when I click another row in the library after deleting a tag (I'm deleting the contents of a tag in the library information browse side panel area)

  • Re: Crash when trying to 'Dock this tab'

Tom- I finally was able to reproduce this and ultimately track it down. Problem was that some cocoa code was sending messages to the floating library window after we had deallocated it. Thanks for your help in tracking this down. The fix will be in the next Beta and subsequent stable release. Glenn

Tom - Can you post an image of your library setup on windows? I've not been able to reproduce this, but am thinking there might be something in your windows setup/sync data for the library. Do you see a 'rank' column on Windows? Can you also post an image of the Library on the Mac, before you attempt to dock? Thanks

  • Re: Serious Bug: Bug Eats Library

Excellent, thanks for the logs, I see an exception when you're opening the ESV Study Bible We think we have a fix. The exception in your logs which seems to indicate that the synced Panel Text Size is not lining up. I've changed the code where the exception was coming from and added some logging. This will come out in the next Beta release. In the meantime

  • Re: Serious Bug: Bug Eats Library

I've watched the video and reviewed the logs. They don't line up. We create new logs each time you run, so the logs from the video are gone. I've not been able to reproduce what I saw in the video. The ESV Study Bible opens each time for me. No need for a video, but can you reproduce this issue and capture and post your logs after you've closed Logos

  • Re: Library Summary View

The current library on Mac does indeed group by type, but the collapsable aspect is not supported by the type of Table View we used for this first release. We do have plans to implement collapsable groupings and will be available in the future,

I tried this on both my Mac and my Windows test box and got the same results. Looking into the code a bit, it appears that our Parallel Passages query does not use your resource preferences. I've written a bug for this and may be addressed in a future release. Thanks for reporting this! Glenn

  • Re: Maps aren't copying

I'll write a bug about the inline images not being copied, but in the meantime, you can just right click on the map you want and select the "Image" on the right side of the context menu and then choose Copy. This will copy the map as an image, which you can paste into Word
