Greetings all. Forgive me if the issue I'm posting has been addressed elsewhere; I was having a heck of a time searching the forums today (see below). Anyway: I'm wondering about the way that the Judges portion of BHQ is showing up in my version of Logos. I'm on a Mac; I notice that my PC-wielding buddies aren't having the same issue. The brackets that
I just removed it and put it back - all fine...
When I remove the icon and put it back, it also looks fine... but only for awhile. Eventually the shortcut icon reappears.

After downloading the newest update, the dock icon for Logos 6 is showing up for me as a shortcut icon. This is of course minor, but, I assume, unintentional. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? T his happens when the program is in use: AND when it is not in use: Again, not a huge deal, but it sure doesn't look as pretty as it should. Please note also

Actually—I posted too quickly—I sorted myself out. Adding a highlight manually from OS X prioritized the appropriate note document in the app eventually. In case this is helpful to anyone else, I'm fairly convinced that this issue is related to the resource as well. I'm reading in one of the Ante-Nicene volumes, which seem to lag in some other respects
This sounds like "large note document syndrome."
Aha! Of course you are right. The note document is massive and the book in which I'm highlighting is equally massive. In another resource and with a different highlighting document, all is well. I have changed the default highlighting document on all platforms, but I can

Since the newest update, I'm experiencing a significant highlighting lag. When I highlight a sentence, I see the yellow highlighter follow my finger, but when I release, it disappears for 20-30 seconds. The page is in effect frozen until then; I can't turn the page, look up words, or activate any other part of the app. I've had this experience with

Just FYI: I found a minor bug in the latest (SR) version in Yosemite. I've had no other issues, and this one is quite minor. I upgraded to Yosemite last night and updated Logos today. When I use the "find" feature in a particular resource (cmd + F), the window isn't showing up properly: I've restarted and tested in a variety of resources. If additional

Interesting. Thanks for the insight Graham.

Good morning: I assume that I'm simply entering something incorrectly, but I can't get my Subject-Object clause search to work. I'm attempting to search the Lexham Hebrew Bible for the following: I'm starting with Isaiah 2:4 ("no longer learn war"), and expecting to at least pull up that verse and Judges 3:2. However, I'm getting no results at all
Hi Michelle, I don't see anything anomalous in the logs. If the trouble you're having is regarding syncing and is not consistent the issue may be network related rather than something wrong with the program. It may just be dropping off the internet occasionally. If the problem is more persistent and is something you can replicate

I may be experiencing the same issue
What is going on? Can you post logs? You can find more info about that in my signature line.
3833.LogosLogs.Michelle.20130502-083236.zip I've attached some logs. I haven't had as much trouble in the last day or so, but there were some delays

I'd be happy to post logs. As I said, I may be experiencing the same issue. I've been having trouble with the syncing for awhile now. Originally, I could clear the history daily, and this would solve the problem (though this isn't ideal!). More recently however, no matter how much or little history I have, the syncing happens continually. Occasionally

Like Dave, I'd be interested to hear about this as well. I may be experiencing the same issue.

Thank goodness! That fixed it. I use Logos almost every day for much of the day (I'm a seminary student), so my history gets very full very fast. Is there a way to make Logos clear the history on exit? Or every so often?

Good afternoon: I noticed this morning that for the second day in a row Logos was significantly draining power due to high(er than normal) CPU usage (100-150%) and thus fan activity and thus battery drain. I completely acknowledge this is on the high side of "normal," (even though it's only sitting open... though searching raises the CPU usage, it is

Thanks so much for your quick response. I'm on a MacBook Pro (Mid-2010) running 10.7.4. I use control-click rather than the double finger tap. I switched on that function and, as with your experience, the double finger click works perfectly. In case it comes up, I'm using Logos 4.5b (stable release 3). I appreciate the reporting. I'd prefer not to have

Perhaps I'm missing something painfully obvious, but I don't seem to have the ability to delete a portion of a Syntax Search as I'm building it. For example, If I've added a clause, and then a couple of ICs, and want to delete one of the two, I am unable to do so. I keep trying to right click (or, on the Mac, control-click), but that doesn't seem to

Hello all: I recently deleted several notes documents and inadvertently deleted the highlights in my Logos ESV. I AM running Time Machine- does anyone know what file(s) I'd need to retrieve from the back up application support files to restore them? Just figured I'd check before I accepted the loss. Thanks!

I'm glad the ability to change font size has made its way into the betas. I'll look forward to increased font size in a SR in the future!

Is there a way to increase the size in which the Hebrew shows up in the morph search window, specifically? It's incredibly small in comparison to the BHS/ AFAT text (which I know is an adjustable size). I tried the standard "increase font" key command for the resources, but it doesn't seem to work in the search window. There are certainly ways to work
