In order to help avoid problematic files in the future I have attached a zip file with three files: (1) Log file from import failure, (2) the .lbxdat file causing the problem and (3) a log file from the successful import. This LDLS 3 note file's HTML is malformed (improperly nested SPAN tags). Internet Explorer renders this reasonably well. However, our converter is less forgiving. We are currently looking into ways to improve this conversion. Thanks Scott

Could someone with a repro please attach a log file including the crash? http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging Thanks

This has been fixed and should be available in the next beta. Thanks
Is this still true in Beta 4?
Yes, this is still a bug. Thanks for the report, I have reproduced the crash and we're working on a fix.
Even pressing the synchronize button does not back up the "now" layout to the Logos server.
It may have been that the sync doesn't occur until you close the PG. If you leave it open, and just click the re-sync button, nothing happens. There was an issue with the iPhone sync service which has been resolved as of this afternoon. Reading plans should no longer duplicate themselves unnecessarily.
Scott, what sort of data usage are we looking at here? I'm on a data cap......
Depends on how much data you have synced. I can follow up with you privately and give you an idea how much data you have. Scott

For those experiencing long sync times - 4.0a Beta 2 introduced a sync related upgrade bug when downloading notes and highlighting ( http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5605.aspx ). To "fix up" the beta users we had to reset your sync data, meaning all creates/deletes needed to be re-downloaded (just like a fresh install). 4.0a RC1 will again reset

Todd, Can you please attach a complete log file. Thanks. Scott

Thanks for the repro logs. Unfortunately they fell within a 30 minute window in which the sync service was undergoing maintenance. Meaning the service endpoint was not available and the logs don't contain the underlying issue. The sync service is back up, if you could try that repro one more time I would really appreciate it. Sorry for the trouble.

John or Bobby, if you could post your log files that would be helpful. Thanks Scott

Thanks for the report. This issue has been resolved in internal builds and should show up in Beta 3 (as well as SR 8). Scott

There should be no issues w/ syncing collections b/w SR current and Beta 2 Can you give a specific example of changes that are not syncing? Please include system versions and the steps taken to reproduce. Thanks Scott

Bohuslav, Thanks for the log file. I have identified the problem and have a fix ready to go out with SR6 (should go out later today or tomorrow). After installing SR6 restarting the app will resolve this issue. Thanks Scott
