• Re: Question re:Gospel Mystery of Sanctification

Yep, I put in my pre-order at $5. I'm sure part of the problem is that I just haven't had very much time to sit down and really read more than a page or so to get a better feel for it.

  • BDAG/HALOT - Questions about "premium" lexicons

Can somebody explain to me what type of benefits the "high-end" lexicons like BDAG and HALOT offer over, for example, the "low-end" Swanson Dictionaries of Biblical Languages contained in my base package? I assume that they are fantastic resources and that their price is well justified, I'm just looking for some examples of what it is that they offer

  • Re: Citation reference for JFB - problems since 4.0b

I'm bumping this one last time...is there somewhere else I should be reporting this problem? I tried both here and in the Beta Forum. Here, I just got the one reply from Todd...in Beta, it didn't get any attention (although my post happened to coincide with the 4.0cB1 release, so that didn't help).

  • Gospel Mystery of Sanctification: <5 Hours Left, Can it hit $4??

Gospel Mystery of Sanctification will be leaving Community Pricing at Noon Pacific Time. I just placed my pre-order at $5. It is over 90% of the way to $4.

  • Question re:Gospel Mystery of Sanctification

Does anyone know if this is the same revision found here http://www.amazon.com/Gospel-Mystery-Sanctification-Growing-Holiness/dp/1597520543 that has had its language updated into more modern English? I'm really interested in this resource, but I've tried a couple times to read it on Google Books to get a feel for it and have a hard time with the Elizabethean

  • 4.0b Citation problem from JFB

I know that 4.0b is no longer beta, but I though this might get more attention here than it did in the Logos 4 forum: I'm almost positive that this started with 4.0b because I have earlier notes that I copied and pasted from JFB that didn't exhibit this problem: 5. I … come near … to judgment—I whom ye challenged, saying, “Where is the God of judgment
Mine didn't, but my citation style is set on Turabian. I think yours is set differently.
Well, while yours didn't do the same thing as mine, it did list Fausset twice and Brown not at all...very strange. Mine is set to whatever the default is. Does it pull this info from Metadata? Or from somewhere else?

  • Re: Citation reference for JFB - problems since 4.0b

Can someone else do a copy and paste from Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown into Word, OneNote, the Forum, wherever and see if you see the same thing? It is not a huge problem, but strange and a small nuisance to have to edit the citation reference when I happen to use a JFB clip in my class handout.
Disappointed But Thanks for the update.
No problem. You can always find the latest status update at www.isv.org You can also download the current revision of the ISV (including the OT and up-to-the-day progress on Isaiah [currently through chapter 38 or so]) on the download page there. It is available in Microsoft

I'm strongly anticipating the completion of the ISV OT and the availability in Logos as well...but unfortunately, you are using outdated estimates. They are still working on Isaiah and currently hope to have it finished by late-April. That means they are currently running about 4 months behind the schedule you posted.

  • Re: Logos4 on 64bit Windows7

Oh, and in answer to your other question Kolen (about running faster if it were 64-bit) that is not necessarily true. There are a number of cases where a 64-bit version of a program will actually run slightly slower than its 32-bit version due to the added overhead of 64-bit. There should be little if any difference though between running a 32-bit program
