Their use of multi-applications at once is no big deal to them. They design Wiki pages and paste links so the rest of us have a clue.[/quote

Are Logos going to produce a 64-bit version? I think it will be faster if it does, right? running the 32-bit Logos on a 64-bit windows should be slower than 32-bit on 32-bit, right?
For most of us, running L4 on a 64bit OS is faster than running L4 on a 32bit OS. I'm not sure why.
Is Logos 2 16 bit perhaps ?
Even if it wasn't, it was common practice up until as recently as a few years ago for 32-bit programs to use 16-bit installers. In these cases, you can't install the programs on a 64-bit OS even though the program itself is 32-bit since the 16-bit installer won't run.

  • Re: Adding Series

You know, I would think metadata fixes are so easy that they would get taken care of rather quickly. I mean it shouldn't take someone at Logos more than 1/2 hour to go through the Wiki and make the necessary changes to the actual files...or am I missing something? It seems that some of the Metadata correction requests have been on there for months.

This type of issue is why I advocated for the "Focus on code/performance optimization" suggestion on the uservoice list.

I enjoy BKC more than NBC...but I've only used them in Malachi so far, so I don't exactly have a broad comparison of the two yet. EDIT - I also have not been terribly impressed with the Believer's Bible Commentary, counter to all the praise I've seen for it...but again, my only reference point so far is its treatment of Malachi (which is very shallow

  • Re: What new resources??
Did you have a supplemental index before this? Did Logos index after you restarted (even briefly?) You could try running a basic search on your entire library (ranked results I think) on a common word like "God" or "the" and see what books are in your supplemental index.
Well, after upgrading to 4.0b it did a "first
I'm not able to reproduce the problem. If you're adding tags pretty quickly, perhaps adding them a bit more slowly, or waiting for the Updating Library Catalog message to go away will prevent the problem. • More detailed update notifications

Instead of "New resources have been added to your library", it would be nice if we were told WHAT exactly was added/updated. At least let us go to a log or someplace to find out.

  • RC2 bug? - Library Find box loses focus

I just spent a fair bit of time going through my library and adding tags to resources. About half the time, when I would start typing something into the Find box, it would lose focus as it updated the resource list. In other words, halfway through typing something, the cursor would disappear from the find box and it would stop inputting what I was typing

Hmmm...well, that didn't work. The dates are associated with when Logos created and/or modified the files, not when they were downloaded to my PC. The newest ones are from 2/11. I even went through and compared my resources to the Base Package Comparison page. I can't find any differences. Maybe I've been missing a resource or three this whole time

  • 4.0b RC-2: First-time indexing?

I just "upgraded" from 4.0a to 4.0b RC-2. It is now doing a "first-time indexing". Is that normal? I just rebuilt my 4.0a index yesterday.
