No problem. I had the same problem and initially overlooked it for the same reasons...that's why I knew the answer :)

So does this bug fix in 4.0b also fix the fact that "Summarized Bible" only shows up linked to complete chapters and not when verses are cited (i.e. it shows up in a PG for Malachi 1, but not in a PG for Malachi 1:1-14 despite 1-14 encompassing the entire chapter)?

I'd be happy to help. I've been submitting typos/editing corrections/etc to the ISV for their almost finished Old Testament translation. I enjoy that type of work and have an eye for it like some of the other users.

They already exist as a single volume and you may even already have them (they were included in my base package and I only have the "Bible Study" base package): http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/ntbec
This appears to be fixed in 4.0b Beta.
So in other words, I don't need to report it...just wait for 4.0b to come out of Beta? Just for future reference, how do I report a bug if need be? Is there a sticky somewhere that explains the process? Thanks!
I don't have that resource. What is the passage or range that it should hit with each of your search ranges (and what are the preceding and following passages)?
The resource itself references the Malachi 1:1-5 pericope, followed by the 1:6-2:9 pericope. So the 1:6-14 range is covered by the resource.

  • Re: Problem with resource linking (bug?)

If I'm missing the obvious, feel free to point it out to me. I would just think that a resource that shows up for Malachi 1:6-2:9 would also show up for Malachi 1:6-14 unless it only contained information pertaining to Malachi 2:1-9...but that's not the case for "Be Amazed".

  • Problem with resource linking (bug?)

I just noticed a weird problem...don't know whether it is a bug or what. I have "Be Amazed" in my library (Wiersbe). When I run a PG on Malachi 1:6-14, Be Amazed doesn't show up in the commentary list despite the fact that it does have comments on those verses in Malachi. Be Amazed does show up if I run a PG on Malachi 1:1-5 or on Malachi 1:6-2:9. Why

That's great to know John...thanks! Which version of Windows are you running would be my only other question...only Windows 7 uses the new WDDM 1.1 that takes advantage of DirectX10 capabilities that the 9600 has.

Then I guess the only other question is: Is there any problem if I never owned Logos 3? It seems the $69.95 collection is a Logos 3 product. Is that a problem for me as a Logos 4 user?

  • Resource Pricing Question

I apologize if this is a silly question, but I was just wondering how it is that J. Vernon McGee's Through the Bible Commentary is priced at $174.99 while e-sword has the same commentary for only $39.99? That is quite a price difference. Obviously I'd prefer to have it for Logos than e-sword so that it integrates with everything else, but that's a tough

I second, third, and fourth the various requests for making it easier to search and browse the resource catalog and making it easier to discover new resources that would interest me. There is no easy way to do this now. You basically have to go through the catalog item by item and research each book/set/collection on Google to find out what type of

*bump* I still think there has to be a better system than the current one for the catalog. Ideally, I'd like to see the entire catalog categorized and/or tagged with at least general categories (catholic, protestant, baptist, evangelical, reformed, conservative, critical, scholastic, layperson, devotional, etc, etc) if not more specific ones (calvinist

OK, so here's what I've found: It takes 10-15 seconds from startup to hit the home page (I don't have any problem with that...faster would be nicer, but no big deal. I realize that I could disable the home page if I wanted to as well.) During startup, the processor is at 50-60% for that 10-15 seconds. Doing a 3 chapter PG (I know that is big, but I
