Thanks everyone, it's all sorted out now.

Hello all, I'm running Windows 7 64. Just did a system restore. Everything still works, but the Logos Bible software icon has been replaced with a blank and Logos itself is gone from my start menu. What is the best way of dealing with this? Should I run a repair via Programs, or what?

Thanks. One more question, if I may: will Britannica be unbundled and be available for less than the $199 prepub? I am not at all interested in Compton's, but may still consider getting Britannica if I can get it for less. I should add, this would be entirely because of the Logos ecosystem, as I already have Britannica Ultimate 2015 installed on my

Phil, two questions: Will the articles be automatically updated over time, or will there be a separate charge for that? If so, how much? How difficult would it be for you to get all the articles (not just a selection) from the full Encyclopedia Britannica database (i.e. Britannica Academic)? The reason I love Logos is because the interface is so much

Yes, I restarted, etc. No difference. I'll have to post the log files tomorrow then.

I often work with Logos 6 running underneath two other windows in Word 2010. Often when I switch from Logos back to those windows, I see tabs or other parts of Logos showing through the Word document on top. I have attached a screen shot so you can see for yourself. Has anyone else experienced this, and what is the best way to deal with it?

Logos just updated to 6.6. Now it says "Library indexing" and keeps it at 0%, with no progress. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm running Windows 7 Professional on a SSD.

So you are able to convert kindle (mobi) books into docx? How do you do that?
-
That worked! I'm back in business. Thanks for providing a fix so quickly. Now I can get back to work.

I can't open Logos to a blank layout - the control key makes no difference. As soon as I open the program, it crashes.

6254.Logos Log Files.zip I just purchased Peter O'Brien's PNTC on Hebrews and typed "update all" into the command box in Logos 5. Then it downloaded a 45 MB update, and now Logos won't even open anymore! This is terrible; I was in the middle of my sermon preparation, and I am already chronically short on time. Please get back to me ASAP on how to fix

Thanks for the chart, that finally sold me. I have downloaded Logos 5 and will give it a fair try - so far I am missing L4, but I suppose I could get used to L5 after a while. Oh, and The Gospel According To Abraham does download now.

You wrote, "It may simply be that this resource will not work on Logos 4 and requires the latest version of Logos 5 to run. I don't know if this is the case but it is possible." Okay, but so far it has only been this particular book in the series - I have not experienced the same error with a few others that do open without any problems. There is nothing

Recently I bought the "Gospel According to the Old Testament" series. Most of the resources downloaded no problem, but Living in the Gap between Promise and Reality: The Gospel According to Abraham will not download no matter what I do. I can read it in Biblia, but not in Logos. Interestingly, I also cannot open it in my Android app – it comes up with

The Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture is on sale until Friday. Is it worth getting this if you already have the Early Church Fathers Protestant edition? After all, you could easily set up the ECFP as a collection and search it in My Passage Guide.

Currently when I run a Bible word study on a word in UBS4, the results open up in a different tab in the same window. I would like it to open up in a different window on my screen, so that I don't have to keep switching back to UBS4. Is it possible to do this in Logos 4? Perhaps it has already been documented here, but if so I couldn't find it. Thank

Thank you, those suggestions were helpful.

Is it possible to manually change a resource type for a resource? For example, when I use the passage guide, there are certain reference works I would like to include, and others I would prefer to exclude. I suppose I could make a collection and search that, but I thought maybe it would also be possible to change the resource type on some resources
