First off thanks for the quick feedback Lynden! Please create a new thread for specific issues encountered with this beta. In that new thread it would be very helpful if you could include what search criteria you entered when offline search crashed. Was it a Bible or Basic search type? Are you searching in a specific resource or Entire Library/Recent

Linked panels works differently depending on whether the bible being linked to is local or not. If it's local the specific reference is requested and if available the pane is navigated to it. If it's not available it will drop the verse and just try to link to the specific chapter or book. Looking up specific positions of references for online/stream

I created a case for configurable text margins so the user can choose between phone, small tablet, or large tablet text margins. It will default the text margins based on your phone's generalized screenSize as it does now, but can be overridden for large phone devices that are detected as small tablet rather than phone sized devices. This feature won

DominicM - First off, thanks for the feedback. Lowlight theme implies dark background on light text. In your case the text does not appear to be bright enough to contrast with the background. What type of Android device are you using? I have a Motorola Triumph (Android 2.2) and the text on the buttons appears brighter than in your screenshot.

This is by design. Android has four generalized screen sizes, small, normal, large, and xlarge. There is some overlap in the boundaries of these reported sizes but in general: Small, regular screens include most phones. Large screens typically include very large phones or small sized tablets ranging between 4-7 inches. Xlarge screens are usually for

Thanks for the screen shot and report Marcos. In 0.9.2 Beta 1 the Search feature is using system provided controls for the checkable buttons and dropdown. When we add custom styling this problem should be resolved. Just curious - which ROM are you using?

I spent some time troubleshooting the problems being encountered on the Pocket Edge. Unfortunately without having a physical device to test with I was unable to reproduce the issue. My understanding is that the Entourage runs Android 1.6 and there was a beta version of 2.2 made available before being discontinued. It would be worth testing the new 0

When reading offline books some cached user/book license info is needed to verify access. If you are having trouble reading an offline book (other than the ASV) then one possibility might be related to the offline license info. Here's a worth while test to confirm this. 1. Open the Library Activity 2. Press your menu button 3. In the context menu, press

Currently your default bible info is stored on the server so when your device is offline it is unable to detect your default bible. In this situation it defaults to the ASV because that is shipped with the app and guaranteed to be available for offline use. This could definitely be improved so that it can chooses an alternative to the ASV when offline

This problem appears to be specific to offline/downloaded resources and passages that are not explicitly in the resource. The following verse map selections navigate properly in offline CCEWB: Selecting Nehemiah 12 then clicking the Go button. Selecting Nehemiah 12:27 Selecting Nehemiah 12:43 Thanks for reporting this.

From the library view you can also press the menu button, then choose history from the context menu and this will display resources you have opened on the device. This won't show just your downloaded resources like you are requesting but will include them (as long as you've opened them) as well as online resources that you've viewed.

Hi Mark, I was able to open "A general View of the History of the English Bible" as both an online and offline book. It would be helpful to know if you downloaded the book (so you could read it offline) before trying to open it.
