I understand there are difficulties in software development, the problem is people bought this software expecting one thing and have gotten another. I have a now 2 year old macbook that I use at home for bible study and using logos to do the simplest of things is so frustrating that I

The big issue in all of this for me is the fact that when L4mac was first released the message from Logos was that in no time it would be no different than the win side of things because they are on the same code just different UI (not a programmer don't know what that means.) I just went back and looked at the forums from those days, years ago and

Thank you both for your help, it has been hard to find Logos resources for this research project.

I was wondering if anyone could offer some good books in Logos format that deals with Augustine Vs. Pelagius controversy. Thanks for your help.

I was late getting in on this beta, so I didnt start really using it until today. Personally I really like the way my highlights show up in a note file. It really does away with needing a clipping file plus a note file for each pericope that I study, now all I need is to have open the corresponding note file for the text that I am studying and as I

Thanks again, on the phone with CS and they offered the same advice.

Thank you so much, BTW do you have an idea as to why it won't let me print cards? the button is greyed out

I have been trying to create a Vocab list for a little bit and can't figure it out. I am hoping to use it go along with Seow's Grammar, hoping maybe someone has a suggestion. Thanks

I can report that after I installed the new version all is well with Sync. I deleted the books (I only had two) before I installed the new version if that makes a difference.
I just updated to 4.3 (4.30.0.1498) and I'm still having the same sync error. I've attached my log.
Well, that's disappointing, I am having the same issues and was hoping the new release would fix them.

That is wise Steven. I bought a Mac around 2 years ago because Logos was supposed to be the same on both. Well they still are not and really a Mac isn't that much better than a PC with Win 7 in fact I prefer my PC now. For around half the money you can get a PC that is equal to a Mac IMHO. Of course I use mine primarily for Sermon Prep and Study. Just

Fuller is moving up, it has reached 80 percent at 25 dollars! Great deal, I recently bought his expostion of Genesis for 40 from Amazaon. Would love to have it in Logos to.

Thank you for the explanation, I should have checked into all of that before my rant.

I have come across several books now that have no page number index. The most recent on is the New Dictionary of Biblicaly Theology. What is the point of having a book such as this for research if there is no way to reference it? Very disappointing Logos, very disappointing. Isn't this the reason we hear that it costs so much to have these books in
I am in the minority. I really have no problem with notes, except that it cannot keep up with my typing speed, which is a problem with the underlying software that microsoft has not improved.
Yeah notes are not a big issue for me except for the speed.

It would be really cool to share notes and layouts with another Logos User. Another Logos user and I are about to begin preaching through a Genesis together and it would be really neat to be able to just send him my notes and layout instead of having to have him come to my office and look and then try to go and reproduce it. This would help us to be
Sometimes I type faster than I think...but yes, the Reformed Expository set.
I was just making sure that I wasn't missing out. BTW I think there are two or three threads about this set being made available through Logos. I have quite a few in print and love them. Bryan Chapell wrote the one for Ephesians and it is
Have there been any talks on adding this commentary set to the Logos offerings?
Did you mean the Reformed Expository set?
