Thank you for the explanation, I should have checked into all of that before my rant.

I have come across several books now that have no page number index. The most recent on is the New Dictionary of Biblicaly Theology. What is the point of having a book such as this for research if there is no way to reference it? Very disappointing Logos, very disappointing. Isn't this the reason we hear that it costs so much to have these books in
I am in the minority. I really have no problem with notes, except that it cannot keep up with my typing speed, which is a problem with the underlying software that microsoft has not improved.
Yeah notes are not a big issue for me except for the speed.

It would be really cool to share notes and layouts with another Logos User. Another Logos user and I are about to begin preaching through a Genesis together and it would be really neat to be able to just send him my notes and layout instead of having to have him come to my office and look and then try to go and reproduce it. This would help us to be
Sometimes I type faster than I think...but yes, the Reformed Expository set.
I was just making sure that I wasn't missing out. BTW I think there are two or three threads about this set being made available through Logos. I have quite a few in print and love them. Bryan Chapell wrote the one for Ephesians and it is
Have there been any talks on adding this commentary set to the Logos offerings?
Did you mean the Reformed Expository set?
-
I guess I am lucky, I have been able to export all I wanted throughout this whole beta.

Thank you for this, these are great

Could you direct me to these sentence diagrams?
-
Yeah it is always slow for me to.

Great series hope to see it in Logos.

When will this sale actually start?
Per the announcement , the sale prices should be listed exclusively on Facebook this coming Tuesday!
So its tuesday....

I wonder if today is the day that the sale will start or if they pushed it back a day?

I am grateful for this sale and think it is a great idea. If you don't like it then don't do it, seems pretty simple to me. But something that I like about it is the fact that I can show others that are asking me which books I find vaulable a link to where to find them. I personally want people who look to me for advice on reading/study materials to

Phil, thank you very much, I am humbled by yours and Logos as whole's reply to my experience. It means a great deal to know how much you guys care about your customers.

Yes it is water under the bridge now, it was some books I didn't need anyway. Thanks for listening guys, I feel much better now.

I agree, but if I recieve bad serve from a company I may pray for them but then I go where I am treated fairly. Logos is a business and I hold them responsible for the people they employ. I simply expected them to come back and say we are sorry about this we will try harder. But i have recieved silence
The Logos sales people are the same as us. Your sales person may have been having a bad day. Perhaps prayer for that person is a better response?
I agree, but if I recieve bad serve from a company I may pray for them but then I go where I am treated fairly. Logos is a business and I hold them responsible for the people

Last Monday I called sales and asked for a specific couple of books. I was treated without respect and the my sales person acted as though I was troubling him by simply asking for him to sale me a book that I had found and wanted. I was naturally upset and told him never mind, I decided that if I am going to be treated this way I can find other places

I agree there are two really good resources containing a number of catechisms/covenants/confessions. John A Broadus "Baptist Confessions, Covenants, and Catechisms" and Lumpkin's, Baptist Confessions of faith. They would both be very useful in Logos format.
