Ah, you are right. I did not pick up on that as I'm not used to that. But you are correct, that is better. When I look up God the leader it hits #2 in that article (and also #3), but God the Group of People selection gives just #3. Thanks for that. I agree, then, that that is better. It is bringing us right to the exact match. Excellent!

Hi, I looked up "Gog" in the Factbook and under dictionaries, for the ISBE, and it linked not to the top of the article for "Gog" but to the third point under that article. Had to scroll up to get the the top. A smallish issue, but still an important one. See the image below for how it linked in the Factbook. Thanks.

I don't know what causes this. It stopped for a while, but has recurred. The only pattern I can think of is when I am in a layout, got to other applications and then come back. It is at this time it seems to be more likely to occur. Below is an image of this situation. As you can see I have an active layout called Universalism (preparing for a study

I just opened a saved named layout and the option "Close Active Layout" is disabled, so I cannot close it by clicking it. If I click it, the menu just closes. I've seen this a lot the last while. Sometimes it is enabled, but it seems to be more disabled than enabled. Not sure exactly why. Seems random. This is on Logos 5 for Mac. Anyone know why this

Thank-you!

Yes, that is correct. Clicking the corresponding related media thumbnail would switch the display to that one. It works on Windows. I am sure it used to work on the Mac, but not 100% sure (I'm a relatively recent Mac convert). It is certainly not working now.

Yes, it is the "Logos Bible Software Infographics". But the same issue is happening with the Faithlife Study Bible Videos" which also has a Related Media section. I've attached a screen shots. It is the Related Media section in the bottom right that doesn't actually follow to the related media when clicked. Faith Life Infographics

Thanks. I am using Logos 5.1 SR-2 (5.1.0.0963) on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

Thanks for the info. The "original date" to which I was referring was the original Oct 2012 date. I either missed or forgot about the "not finishing until Jan 2014" date in that Oct email. That is especially since I had inquired with Customer Service (via email) about it a few months ago and they had, at that time, told me they didn't have any information

I'm sure, at least on the Windows version of Logos 5 (I'm now on a Mac) that clicking one of the images in the "Related Media" box in the bottom right corner used to jump to that image. But I've noticed recently, and again today, that that is not occurring. Hovering over it doesn't change the mouse pointer suggesting I can click on it. And even if I

Anyone know the progress on the Lexham Hebrew discourse and High Definition resources? It is completed up to "Jonah", but since it has been fully paid for already, I want to see the rest of it. Considering it was originally supposed to be completed last year, then delayed, I think expecting it to be completed by now is only fair, no?
-
I've been wondering the same thing. I don't mind paying up front if it is going to be completed in a reasonable amount of time, but it has been a while. Updates should be coming much faster than this.
-
I agree it would be very useful to have a way of handling this. A default would be nice, but even an option to "Collapse all/Expand All" would be very useful as well. I often want to start with the summary info first, then drill down only when I am ready.

I got the recent ISBE 1915 that was on community pricing (never had a previous version [Ages?]). It came down and I can use it, but it doesn't show up in the Topic Guide or Bible Facts for any item that is in it. I can get to it manually by open ISBE 1915 and typing it in. But it should show up with the other encyclopedias & dictionaries, no? The revised

Loving the command so far. I see that I can do "fsd in {collection}" and "fsd in mytag:{tag}", but not "fed in series:{series name}". Is this correct or am I maybe doing something wrong?
-
Thanks, Everyone. I didn't know about the FSD command! This is great. I'd like to throw out the suggestion that an FSD tool with a UI be added to the tool menu at some time. It could generate a list of X random reading points from the resources in the selected collection, show a bit of the first bit of the reading, and have a "More" to allow you to

Does anyone know a way to randomly generate excerpts for a selected collection, tag, etc. I really like the excerpts on the Home Page and realized it would be great to be able to generate excerpts for a desired set of resources. GIven that many resources I would never read in their entirety, getting random snippets when I want for the resources I want

I, too, have been wondering just this week.

Just did! Thanks for pointing it out.

I've found myself suffering from this feature weakness. The mytag feature is great, but there needs to be a way to delete all instances of a particular tag and to rename all instances of a particular tag. Please Logos, add this feature!
