I got an email offering me a Free Christmas book but the link takes me to a sales page which does have a single christmas book... A Light Has Dawned: Meditations on Advent and Christmas but it is $11.99 not free. -dan

A good starting point if possible might be the index in the Catechism of the Catholic Church which is of course an English translation of the Index Analyticus. -dan
Have we also suggested the first 4 vols. somewhere?
We have a couple books about the Philokalia but not the first 4 volumes. -dan
usenet newsgroups.
Ah I remember those days.... Usually saying "when will the mac version be released..." or reporting bugs in the alpha and beta versions of the mac version... I did like the original mac version despite it's limitations... -dan
1. This was a meet and greet thread in 2011. Very interesting. Add 9 years to the ages! https://community.logos.com/forums/t/34510.aspx?PageIndex=1&ssi=0
Thank you for sharing this it was wonderful to scroll through and see everyone including more than a few who have gone on to be with God. -dan
The main reason that I say the NIB is worth having is this: N. T. Wright on Romans!
While I like romans... Volume 1 alone is pure gold among my favourites are (looking through the list i wanted to pull dozens off but restrained myself): Genesis: Terence E. Fretheim Exodus: Walter Brueggemann Leviticus: Walter C. Kaiser

i do not know why it never goes on sale here (I believe it is on some pastors only sale or something like that now) or over at Accordance... I have seen it go on sale once or twice over the years for a significant savings over at Olivetree. The one savings grace over at Accordance is once or twice a year one will get a 25%-30% of one single none sale
-
I do not remember seeing the NIB on sale before... I have used it for over 20 years and find it very useful punching well over it's weight in both size and price. I have said it before and say it again here I wish every lover of the Bible could own it. I find it very informative with great insights in the reflection section. Like all commentaries it
I was told just before L9 launch it would probably be a few more months.
Could be I only know what i read at Accordance, the implied context was it would be days after they got the text not weeks that THEY would be releasing it. That said differing companies have differing processes. I know some people were upset
-
A couple days ago another company stated that they had yet to receive the tagged text, so I would suspect Logos may be waiting for a greek hebrew tagged text to process it. As I would suspect numerous people would be asking about when it would be tagged if it was released without it. The light is at the end of the tunnel just hold on a few more days

Beacon Bible Commentary 10 volumes would be a good one to bundle too... -dan

The Anglicised version NIV 1984 still shows up in Logos store searches and is still for sale as best I can tell. -dan

Wordsearch earlier this year released the classic 10 volume Beacon Bible Commentary I was wondering if there is any idea when this set might be made for sale in Logos? The fact that there was no way for me to satisfactorily use WS when it was released (a useable native or even wine MAC app was not operational) left me taking a pass on this set that
