After a 30 year career as a Software developer I find it hard to function without dual monitors. My current setup is one 36" and one 30" monitor. Before I retired I always ran 3 monitors. I find that when I go mobile with my MBP that having just the laptop monitor is frustrating. I have considered getting the IPad Pro but I just can't justify the expense

I agree I bought Logos 7 Silver a few years ago and using Essentials to get the Logos 8 features that I want like Workflows and Canvas. So why are they offering a Library only upgrade?
-
I now have a FaithLife Essentials subscription. So I am on the Logos 8 full feature set but the About page shows that I have a Logos 7 Library. Am I losing much functionality by using the older library? Is upgrading it important? I took out the subscription to take advantage of Logos 8 but I don't want to cripple my studies. But at the same time I can

I have read about 30 books this year from my Kindle Unlimited. But I canceled it today so that I could put the $9.99 towards a FaithLife Essentials subscription. Better use of my money and time.

Thanks Mattillo. I got Supernatural as my FL free book this month and I think for now I'll stick with that. If I find myself agreeing with his thoughts in Supernatural I may add The Unseen Realm in the future. But there were enough negatives in the link you provided to make me cautious about this subject.
-
If I own Supernatural: What the Bible Teaches about the Unseen World - and Why It Matters by Micheal S. Heiser is there any need or anything to gain by also purchasing The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible also by Heiser? I would love to hear your take on this. I'm willing to get The Unseen Realm but I don't want to spend

Most months I couldn't find a book that I was really interested in even when there were 20 choices. I ended up picking "the lesser of 20 evils" to borrow a common phrase. I'm simply not find their offerings fitting my needs.
-
For me over the last few months I haven't really been interested in any of the choices. But I have picked one just so that I don't lose my free book. I would much rather have two free originals books. I just don't care for the "classics".

Good ideas Friedrich. I am a retired software/internet developer. I have taken up Wordpress development and I live on the internet. My browser history contains hundreds of links a day. Going back would and finding something would be tough. I did check my Logos wish list and it wasn't on there. The idea of searching for a title or author and trying the

Another big "thank you" To Mark. after playing around with the books in the query you provide I found this little gem I wasn't aware of - https://www.logos.com/product/8531/classic-commentaries-and-studies-on-genesis I think I'll ave my money and go that route.
-
Thanks Mark. I don't remember the name but I would recognize the book cover and I didn't see it in your query results. However, its possible the cover images have changed. On the down side, I'm an idiot for not knowing the Commentary name and author. On the plus side, there are some good ones in the query results and the prices are very reasonable.
-
There was a commentary series on Genesis that I have been putting off buying that was no longer on the list. I've been concentrating on Paul's journeys and writings and the books I've been seeing month after month on the list were missing too.
-
I agree on the communications part but maybe I just missed it so the problem is on my end. What irritates me the most is that you buy into something on a promise then they change it r lessen the value of it. People should honor the original promises. Thinking about what the government has done to military veterans. After your service then they deny

The FaithLife Classics only had 4 books that were over $20 and there was only one page with 10 total books for FaithLife Originals. What happened? My subscription is up for renewal next month and if this is what its going to be like now then it doesn't seem worth it.
Oh, special thanks to Marshall for noticing it and mentioning it!
I'm glad I could help JohnB. I always sort the free book list from Highest Price to Lowest and check to see if there are any bargains. Next I look for new additions. Then I move on the my wish list for my free nook. I was really surprised to see the Jewish

Thanks everyone. I'm going to get it and I'll try to remember its context and short comings when I reference it.

I tried again and this time it worked for me.
Great I picked up the free classic book but I'm waiting to see if Faithlife refreshes the list for the original books before I settle on one.
The Jewish Encyclopedia is on of the free classic books this month. Does anyone have it? Can anyone recommend it? I'm interested but I sure wish there was a way to thumb through it before purchasing.

I'm running out of free original books to pick from that

I think I'll just get hold of the ACCS book on Acts as that is the time frame and book that interests me the most at the moment.
