Disregard. I found a link that describes the whole thing. I wish I had known about it sooner. I owe you a double thanks, Richard.

Richard, Thank you for the reply. I tried your suggestions with several combinations of starting and restarting, etc. and I still have the same problem Most of the Logos sales stuff entices me a good deal, but I'm normally able to keep from biting. Ok...you made me bite. I am under the impression that it will costs several hundred dollars to upgrade

  • Taskbar Icon Messed Up

My Logos icon on on my taskbar has changed. Before I had the Logos icon, and I clicked it and my software opened. Now, there is still a spot for an icon, but it is a ugly white square. Logos opens and seems to work just fine, but the icon is messed up. I restarted my computer already. I recently installed, and then uninstalled Proclaim. I can't pinpoint

  • Re: Pictures attached to verse

Nope! When I click the link my note disappears and all I can see is the text again. Thank you, anyway, for trying to help me out. NOTE: I have closed the program and done a hard restart. Also, I have tried these same steps on both my iPhone and iPad with identical results.
Hi Ryan
Just a note, it looks like the iOS app doesn't allow me to "click" on external links (if anyone knows how to do this, or if I'm doing it wrong I'd appreciate help).
If you open a note by clicking on its icon in a document then links are clickable Graham
Graham, Thank you

  • Re: Pictures attached to verse

Unless someone has some other advice it looks like the best way for me to do this is to share a link to the file in my dropbox. Rosie's idea was a good one, but it is too limited. What is I want to share a picture in a Bible class on the fly and I only have my iPhone or iPad? Just a note, it looks like the iOS app doesn't allow me to "click" on external

  • Pictures attached to verse

It seems more and more I am running across great comics or pictures on Facebook that I would love to be able to reference later. I think the best way to do this would be to add a picture to a note (either reference or selection), but it doesn't look like this is possible. This is what I want to do: I want to be able to archive pictures that are attached

I've been waiting since 1 am for somebody to poop all over the parade. There's always a "but..." isn't there. As for me and my house, we are busting out the sparkling grape juice today!

Step #1 - check it out...Bible study just got bumped to the next level. Step #2 - go to the app store and up my rating for Logos. Step #3 - go to bed...it's late. Hooray for Logos.

  • Re: Second thoughts on the BDAG for my purpose?

Jose, I don't intend this to sound mean, but you really need to just learn the lexical forms - then keep BDAG. Knowin the language is about worthless without memorizing your roots. Ryan

  • Full Logos Features from iPad

Maybe I'm a little slow, but I have recently discovered something worth sharing. There is an app for the iPad called Splashtop Remote. It only costs $5, and with it you can control your desktop through your iPad. The first thing I did was try out my Logos. You can do just about everything through your iPad. I was a little excited to use personal books
I'm looking for a complete list of all forms of the root word.
I don't think what you are asking is possible. You can get every occurance, not in a single list. I share your frustration. You know what else would be nice in addition to a single list would be a complete count - "your word occurs XX times" Sorry I couldn
I have been trying to figure out a way to view the whole list of places the greek word i search for is found. at the moment i can only seem to find the partial lists and due to the fact some words have many different forms this is quite frustrating. Have you tried a hard shutdown? (hold the sleep button and the main front button until you can shut it down).
It's showing the wrong Greek words when I hold my finger on a word in the esv. Any ideas what's wrong? It works ok on my iPhone but not my ipad2
I just looked up several words in the ESV with no problems. What chapter and verses are you having trouble with?

You will definitely need Dropbox. This will allow you to pick up files on your iPad from your desktop. There are limitations. You can't edit. You will experience some formatting trouble. But, at the end of the day when the preacher shows up on Sunday morning and doesn't have a voice, you can simply open your favorite sermon from you desktop and get

  • Re: iPad Lexical Searches

Adam, Let's make sure we are doing the exact same things. Here is a step-by-step of how I get my results. I am going to be using the ἄμπελος example from Jn. 15.1. 1. In a Bible go to Jn. 15.1. 2. Press and hold "vine", tap "look up", and then tap Bible Word Study. NOTE: if you are using the NASU ἄμπελος is only translated "vine" so you will tap on

Please forgive my sincere confusion, but I am still baffled about what you are after because I see two separate issues listed in your reply. Perhaps, if you can tell me what you are trying to accomplish I can help you more, but let me give you my thoughts on what you have said. First, you said, "I want to generate a concordance-style list of every time
