Thanks, KS4J. I created a new post in the Mac Beta forum with the log.

Open Logos4, click on Tools -> Biblical Places. Window pops up but only gray inside. 0045.biblical_places_blank.zip

Woops... I'm using the latest Mac Beta release. Interestingly, I tried to click on Logos -> About after opening Biblical Places (whether I have it still open, docked in a tab or closed doesn't matter), Logos hangs with a beach ball. I have seen this happen twice.

I'm having a related problem. I click on Biblical Places and it came up as a popup but the window was grayed out. Nothing shows up.
Furthermore, changes that you make in Notes, Highlights, Highlight Styles, and Favorites will no longer sync from the stable client (anywhere/ever) once you have run the beta.
Hmm... ok. Well, that's a bit annoying, but I guess I'll have to put my notes/highlights in on another machine where I do have the beta
Ryan - As Mike suggested, you are playing with this at your own risk. In addition to the Logos 4 folder in your Applications folder, your files are found in the following path: /Users/ yourusername /Library/Application Support/Logos4 If you are using Lion, you will need to hold down the option key to find your library folder

I tried using Amnesia to uninstall, but that didn't work. I then used Houdaspot to find anything with the text 'logos' in it and realized that a folder in Application Data was still there as well as some saved state. Once I removed that, the older release works.

Melissa wrote: " Logos 4 Betas cannot be downgraded to a stable release. You will need to uninstall, delete all Logos4 folders, then reinstall the stable release if you no longer wish to run a Logos 4 Beta. " Ok, so I tried removing everything to do with Logos, but must have missed something since I am unable to install the last stable release. Can

Nothing seems to work with the passage guide. Shouldn't there be at least some minimal testing before releasing software, even if its only a beta? I realize there will be bugs, but it should be 'corner cases' not completely non-functional features.

I tried looking up Rev 21:22 in the passage guide and it kept crashing, so I decided to rebuild my index. Then today, I tried Mark 12:1 and it crashed again. This seems to happen whether I start from the home page or from the passage guide itself. BTW, I forgot how to post my logs... can someone point me to the place where it describes how to do this

When I scrolled through the new notes file created for highlights, Logos crashed on me. I'm not actually sure why I would need to scroll through this file though it may be useful to include it in searches.
-
I am noticing that when I add a note to my notes file by highlighting a passage in the bible and then right-clicking and adding a note, the note appears with a yellow highlight and as I type IN THE NOTES FILE, the background of the note is yellow. When I try to erase the note highlighting or change it, it doesn't affect it. Is there not some way to
Figured it out. John Lightfoot also wrote the more well known Talmud Hebraica (separately available in Logos). If you go to the table of contents Page cvi, you'll notice chaps 11 and 12 are not highlighted and chap 11 was the first installment of Talmud Hebraica (he wrote the second installment later (chap 12). By the

I just downloaded the John Lightfoot collection and seem to be missing volumes 11 and 12. Although, since it only contains 11 vols, maybe vol 13 is mislabeled and should be labeled vol 11.
Hi Martin, Just as strange - the Philocalia has downloaded on my MacBook but not my iMac. I can access it on my iPad though. Not much help but 'a trouble shared etc'.
That is bizarre... I have exactly the same problem. It downloaded on my MacBook, but not my iMac.

What is the difference between the Neusner translation and the one currently in pre-pub, Rodkinson's translation? http://www.logos.com/product/10356/the-babylonian-talmud-original-text-edited-corrected-formulated-and-translated-into-english If you already have Neusner, what benefit would you gain by purchasing Rodkinson's?

Why not start if off in Community Pricing and see if there is enough interest :P

Ok, I am able to create a blank layout. Crash averted.
