  • Group Wishlists

I am part of a 'Group' on my Logos account page (a group of 2 - but a group none the less ;-) In our group, I can look at either my pastor's wish list or my wish list. If I go to my pastor's wish list and select 'add to cart' for one of HIS books, does it purchase the book for me or for my pastor? It doesn't seem to clarify this in the first 2 steps

Although I would very much like to get the electronic version of Beale's New Testament Theology, $200 is too rich when I only want the one book. If others feel this way, why not write Baker Academic ( http://www.bakeracademic.com ) and let them know you are disappointed that this book is only available as a bundle. If enough people write expressing

  • Re: Scripture links not linking to my preferred bible

I figured it out. In my Library preference, it did not have the ESV at the top of the list so the hyperlinks were pointing to my other commentaries first. I put the ESV at the top and It's all good now.

  • Scripture links not linking to my preferred bible

0116.Logos Log Files.zip I have Logos 4 on both a PC laptop and an iMac platform. This problem is the same on both computers. I have ESV as my preferred Bible. Currently I am working on Psalm 64 and I have quite a few commentaries open. In the commentaries, the verse references that are in blue (hyperlinks), wether they are in brackets or not, all open

  • Re: Biblia.com resources

Yes, I saw those. That will make it easier for our web designer when we switch. Do you know if Biblia.com will be adding the "Reading Plan" like in Logos 4 soon? The ESV site we currently use has a M'Cheyne One-Year Reading Plan that we are able to link to our website as well as the scripture look-up. Rather than doing a partial switch, we would probably

  • Biblia.com resources

My church is creating a new web site. The creator (of our web site) linked to a free bible search. I am going to propose that they link to biblia.com as they have additional resources as well as the bible (and it's good advertising for a great product). I have L4, but rather than creating a fake account, . . what resources are available for joe public

  • Bible Memorization

I enjoy using logos for my daily reading. How about building in a tool that will help me memorize scripture as well. Memverse.com is a great site that helps. It would be amazing if that could be added to logos, my one stop bible app ;-)

  • Re: Typo's

I found a TON of them in Word Biblical Commentary Vol 19 (Psalm). The typo is the links in the text. Most of what I have found is the text will read "v 7" and the pop up bible verse will read verse 6, while the reference at the bottom right of the pop states verse 7. I don't know if it is throughout the entire book or just the chapter I am looking at

  • Syntax search causes crash on Mac

When attempting to perform a syntax search, the program closes. Each attempt to complete another search causes the same results. This is my first attempt at performing a search of this nature. Doug 21036.Archive.zip

There are some great suggestions here. You can also check out this web site for a ranking of the best commentaries. I have used this when I am considering purchasing a commentary set. www.bestcommentaries.com Doug

  • Suggestion: Library Notifications

Although my Logos package has a good number of commentaries, The sets are not complete. For example Pillar has 3 commentaries offered for sale that are not in my set and 1 more on pre-pub. It would be nice if; #1 there was a way to be notified about additional books in a commentary set as they come available. I know that sometimes they are displayed

  • Re: Timeframe for full implementation of Logos 4 Mac?

Will there be an e-mail announcement when Logos 4 Mac is gone to Beta (or better yet when it is fully functional)? Rather than hang around a blog site (no offence meant) is there somewhere I can sign up to be e-mailed when it's up & running? Currently running Logos 3 on the mac and Logos 4 on a really old, very slow PC laptop.
