Hi Christian, You will find an incredible level of help and support in these forums. I've made use of them many times through the years and have been richly rewarded. I see a good set of answers to your questions have already been posted so I'll just say "Hello" and "Welcome!"

Thanks for the information. My paper Bible is so marked up I can barely read some portions. I guess I wanted to do the same in Logos! Bryant

Actually, I like TC's mock up but mine was much simpler. 3021.logos screen shot.pdf Not sure how to post the image...sorry

I use the highlighting feature quite often. But I am looking for an arrow that can begin at a word, cross several lines of text, and point at a second word/phrase. Any thoughts or solutions? Thanks!

I have to say the article is a fine analysis of how to master the languages. But as a minister in local work I do not have four hours a day to give to the Greek. But there is no problem with dedicating one hour a day. A year later I am far better than I was before. I will improve. But I improve at a slower pace while still serving the people who call

Is it possible to change the color of links in notes documents? Thanks

That's the problem. User defined searches did not work, at least those created before 5.1.3. Thank you all for the help!

Here is the offline screenshot.

HI Kevin, Thanks for the response. I am now running 5.1.3 (5.1.30022). I closed the app and restarted it but am still having the same problem. When I am offline the search ranges do not work. For example, searching for "love" in Paul's Epistles returns "No results matched your search." But when I turn wi-fi back on, the search runs as expected. Is there

I'm using 5.10.0 on my iPad. It works fine except for the following problem: When searching while offline, I cannot search using a defined search range. For example if i search for "righteousness" using the ESV in ALL PASSAGES I get the expected listing. But if I do the same search restricted to GOSPELS (or anything else), I get "no results matched

I didn't know that. I'll be looking! Thanks!

I just received word from the people at Hootsuite. Instagram images are cropped to be square. The visual copy option only offers 4:3 and 16:9. One would need to download it to another app and crop it square.

I've tried both and have the same problem. I do not have the problem when posting to Facebook.

I'm really liking visual copy as it is a real time saver. But when I save a slide to my computer as a JPEG and then post to Instagram (via Hootsuite), the image is cropped all the way around and some of the letters or words are cut off. Anyone have a thought?

"gremlin communes" - I love that.

Thanks to you all. I used the problem as an excuse to get the extended crossgrade all the way to 6. The install seems to have been flawless and the duplication problem is gone. I was slow to upgrade because my 3 -> 4 was painful. But so far, so good.

I am having an issue where Logos duplicates entries in the search box, reference drop down menu. Any thoughts as to how to prevent this? Thanks!
-
You know, you would think that someone who has been using Logos since its first iteration would know that - duh. Thank you for reminding me so quickly!

Is it possible in 4 to run a search and then easily move selected verses over to a passage list or other such place for future reference? For example, I have a search on God and father. I would like to preserve those verses (or extract/select them) where God is spoken of as father. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks! Bryant
Personally have learned having less open in Logos is more productive
I think this is the key and in fact can make a difference on other programs too. With many items linked, the program has to make frequent calls to the hard drive to keep the links synced. Unlink some stuff and see if that makes a difference
