• Back To The Books

With September just around the corner some of us are thinking about going back to school and others are thinking of getting back to our studies after a summer break. I am in the latter group. So my task is to decide upon a study plan. If you were going to start with the basics and grow from there what books or courses would you begin with and work through

  • Re: Reading Lists

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, very much appreciated. I agree Logos should have a better way of doing this. Basically what I want to do is devise a study curriculum and work my way through it. A personal book would also work. It would also allow you to reference websites and resources outside of Logos. It would serve as my personal study journal

  • Reading Lists

I want to create a list of books and courses to study on a particular topic. The idea is to create a sequence for study and keep track of which resources I have completed and which are yet to be completed. I am thinking of using layouts for this. Is there a better way in Logos to do this?

  • Re: Finishing Well

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments. This is a very important and needed study in the church and in my own life. With so many respected leaders falling recently it is a call to us to finish strong, to finish our race well. Fortunately we have excellent resources in Logos and help from the Logos community to help us run our race with endurance

  • Finishing Well

I am working on a sermon on finishing well. I have been wondering why some Christians are able to withstand all kinds of adversities and finish their lives faithfully and others either never get in the race, lose their enthusiasm or drop out of the race completely. I have been studying the Parable of the Sower and some other parables that Jesus taught

  • Denominations

I am looking for a good book that will give an unbiased comparison and description of different denominations and theologies. What is reform Theology? What is orthodox theolog? What is Pentecostal theology? Etc. How are they the same? How do they differ? Who are the hey players in each - preachers , teachers and authors? Does anyone have any recommendations
I know there are high costs associated with making this courseware...so I only buy courseware when it is on sale or special. Frank
Frank, most of us only buy on sale or in a bundle unless there is something that we want really bad!

  • Re: LifeChange Series In Prepub
WOW! I have been waiting for this one for years! This series has to be one of the most helpful bible studies I've ever encountered. Also, having made my way through several, because it's more of a fill in the blank, it has very little bias. I HIGHLY recommend it!
Thanks Matt. I appreciate your comments and agree

  • Re: CSB on Ipad

Thanks Joe. Unfortunately I cannot update iOS. Also I cannot run the Logos Web App either. I tried to download a couple of other browsers but they also require newer iOS. I can go to biblia.com but not much I can do there except read the resources. I do have other software that I can work in so I might have to do that. It may be time to pick up a new

  • LifeChange Series In Prepub

The LifeChange Bible Study Series is in Prepub. https://www.logos.com/product/167681/lifechange-bible-studies I think this is one of the best bible study series available. It teaches inductive Bible study skills as well as has excellent commentary elements in it. It is also available in prepub as only NT or only OT as well. Let's push this through Prepub
