I want to like the Sermon Builder and have found work arounds for most issues. It is frustrating that the Sermon Builder insists on including the Abbreviated Title (NIV or ESV or whatever) on all slides. I can uncheck the box and erase the Abbreviated Title and "Update Sermon" and "Apply this style to all passage slides" and "Apply this style to all

Tes, I rely heavily on Logos Bible Software. I use a few of my favorite commentaries to develop an understanding of the key points of the passage and provide my general outline for the lesson. I flavor my understanding with tidbits from my Bible Background resources and sprinkle in excerpts from my Bible Dictionary resources. I use many of the questions

I may be called to preach the Fathers' Day sermon in church this year which is a big deal for me since it will be only my second time preaching. I want to do my homework properly. I would like to say that in the Old Testament there are no prayers addressed to "Father." How could I search the OT to convince myself that this is a true statement (if it

You might try your search with your (lemma1 AND lemma2) WITHIN {Milestone <Acts 1:1-26>} where you put the Range you want to search where the Acts reference is. I'm new to searching so I expect you will get better answers pretty soon. -john
Yes. I want to use the regular interlinear as I have a good grasp of Greek. Now how do I get these to open on the desktop app?
If your Bible has interlinear built in, you can access it from the open Bible panel.

xnman, MJ has written a number of posts that seem to cover searching from A-Z and beyond. I went through them one at a time and they really expanded my understanding of searching. It takes time and work, but I don't think you will be disappointed. Here is a link to a good starting point: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/198380.aspx The bread crumb
