I think the "base" field is used in a few German Bibles, but I'm not sure it's used anywhere else. You can control stemming on a per-term basis. The help file covers this in the Mark Sensitivity subsection of "Advanced Searching". First make sure your search panel is set to "match all word forms". Then use the "match exact" term modifier. So, something
Is there any way to control which dictionary is used for the info cards in the Canvas tool? It seems rather arbitrary right now, sometimes favoring the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, or, the NIDOTTE. For my purposes I would prefer to have HALOT or BDAG but I have no idea how to change it within Canvas. They are already prioritized

Thanks for the report. I've create a case for this bug.

I can recreate your problem in John 6:44 if I include the footnote marker as part of the selection. If I just right-click the word (which doesn't make the footnote part of the selection) or if I manually select just the word and not the footnote marker, then it works as expected. The behavior you are seeing makes sense to me, since if you select multiple

Thanks for the report. We have a case open for this bug. I've added a link to this thread so that we can post an update when it gets fixed.

I notice that your first screenshot (doesn't work) is in NASB95, Paragraph Version, while the second screenshot (does work) is in ESV. That makes it sound like you have some kind of problem with the reverse interlinear for NASB95PARA. Please open the Information pane for NASB95PARA (from the panel menu). Scroll to the bottom, copy all of the text in

Thanks! I'll pass that along.

Check the "Library Filter Fields" section of the help file. In particular, you are looking for the "abbrev" filter field.

Ah, right. That still won't work because of the issue mentioned above. Sorry. There's no new information about that issue.

Some time back we made it so searching for Bible references in a Bible search will search the footnotes. Beyond that, there is no update.

Just to be clear... neither the ESV nor the Reverse Interlinear contains any transliterated text. The Reverse Interlinear contains Hebrew text, and this is converted to transliterated text on the fly based on the style you have selected in your program settings. This is exactly as is done in the Text Converter tool. I don't see any difference between
is there a way that it would work with simply hovering over the words as you read through the passage?
That's sounds like the Corresponding Words visual filter, not Corresponding Selection. See details in the Visual Filters section of the help file.

Bible and Morph searches can only compare terms within the same verse. If you want to deal with things at a chapter level, then you will want to do a Basic search instead. This search should do the trick: <Lemma = lbs/he/רֵאשִׁית> AND <Lemma = lbs/he/בִּכּוּרִים> Or use WITHIN 1000 WORDS instead of AND if you want a narrower proximity than

When any facet is selected, the facet list is updated to show facets that intersect with the selected filter. That means that it's going to vary depending on what you've selected and whether or not anything else overlaps with that. For example, if you select the Counseling Theme "Doubt" then you should still see other themes. It's just that no other

Dennis, I'm sorry for the difficulty you've had with this. We will take a look at this and see if we can resolve the problems that are preventing you from syncing. It sounds to me like some bad data got synced up to our servers, so it will have to be cleaned up there.

Thanks for the report. I've submitted a request to update the image.
Is there a shortcut to open a "Search panel"?
Check the very bottom of the help file for a list of keyboard shortcuts. Alt+S on Windows and Shift+Cmd+S on Mac.
