Oh, I definitely want the books in digital form. I have been liquidating titles from my hardcopy library as I add them to my digital library. I'm still waiting on 4000 more to get digitized. I just meant buying them specifically in Libronix format rather than WS, PDF, .txt, HTML and so on. I don't place a high enough premium on the ability to link search

I said KJV is my preference. Geneva Bible is a close second. I read English at 2000 words a minute. My Greek & Hebrew reading skills aren't quite that fast. I'm sticking with English for now. I'm not working on any translating. But I have heard of an American translating the KJV single-handedly into Spanish saying it will be more inspired than the Reina

My friend "Buster" told me one day the Holy Spirit spoke to him in an audible voice while he was taking a shower. He was told to divorce his wife. I told him while I wasn't going to dispute that he had heard a voice saying that, I did contend it was not the Holy Spirit talking. It wasn't Balam's donkey or Karl Barth's dead dog but I KNEW the Holy Spirit

And more words: George Somsel Replied: Wed, Jun 24 2009 12:28 AM "The lunatic fringe of Christianity..." Everybody here envisions a different culprit when we read this label. I personally see a big crowd including: William Barclay - who discounts the supernatural miracles of Christ Karl Barth - "praying to the saints" ?????? The guy who says the KJV

Wow Guys! Of all the forum threads I've read, this one takes the cake. I had to read it through twice and sleep on it. I am compelled to say some words: Regarding the EP paraphase or ANY paraphrase--I couldn't improve on this statement: Joe Miller Replied: Sat, Jun 20 2009 2:53 AM "It is a commentary, published as a Bible." ------------------------

I acquired LOGOS for Mac from another Libronix user that didn't like it. I want to experiment with it before transferring any of my currently installed licensed resources to the Mac. I have a bunch of "stand alone" Libronix products not installed on any machine -- because they are older duplicates, Is it possible to use a few of these products with

Thank you! [<:o)] I can think of lots of ways I can use this & it will save trouble & expense of supplies. (Screen shots 1 & 10 suggest this could be used by college football coaches for Monday morning reviews.)

Is it possible to link the Uabridged Oxford English Dictionary as my default dictionary in LOGOS? I have seen a Libronix version of the Concise Oxford English Dictionary. It makes me wonder if that excludes others. Also, I haven't tried it yet but I wonder if my Libronix formatted 1828 Websters included in: The Christian History Library can be designated

Paul, I have lots of resources in WS 7 installed on another laptop. Many titles are duplicated on my LOGOS computer. I have found as my Libronix resources grow I am spending less time booting up the WS laptop. I agree, the power of LOGOS is unmatched intergrating commentaries, language tools and Bible texts. The complete Works of Spiros Zhodiates makes

I guess I don't get around the web enough anymore. I actually own two copies of AMG's Bible Essentials from many years ago. But when that computer crashed I just made the jump to Libronix 3.0 Scholar Gold. (I did not go the upgrade path from 1 to 2 to 3.) I was told most of my CDs (including AMG's Bible Essentials) will NOT work with 3.0 so I never

I am running Windows XP Media Edition SP3 on an HP DV8000 widescreen laptop.I frequently run a 36" Gateway monitor for extra screen real estate. I do not have the windows maximized but do have their borders stretched out to fill the screen. I then grab one window and drag it off my laptop screen onto the 2nd monitor. I do remember having to choose that

Start-up sounds should be ~h.~.a.~.p.~.p.~.y.~. ala Mozart. I have a BIG back yard and am awakened every morning by Birdies singing. I used to live near the seashore in St. Augustine (Orange & Riberia Streets.) - happy times. My 13th child only laughs since he's just 5 months old. My Independent Baptist Church forgot to put a belfry on the new building

I beg to differ with George on GREEK being unapproachable by the average Bible student. I also believe the Reverse Interlinear Bibles are a good tool to have at one's disposal. and commend LOGOS for making them available. Language acquisition is accomplished more often by immersion and osmosis than rote memorization. My first two languages were learned

Definitely keep the On/Off feature. & lower the default volume. Give users the ability to add their own custom sounds. Add several more packaged sounds. A few suggestions: 1) Birds singing 2) Church bells tolling 3) Ocean surf breaking 4) Baby laughing 5) Crickets chirping 6) Mozart's Turkish March 7) How about an Audio Bible Verse - maybe in Greek

Is there any chance of getting a LOGOS version of the Bile in Japanese? Back in the '90s LOGOS did publish & marketed their software package in Japan. (Anbody have one they will sell?) Then, like men will do, there arose a big copyright contest that somehow made all digital versions of the Bible in Japanese disappear. It seems strange that we have multiple

I guess it all depends on how badly you want the resource. Will you make use of it enough to justify the immediate purchase while waiting on Libronix to get around to it? Even though it is in a less than perfect format? You can always purchase the Libronix format when it comes out. Even though it is usually much more expensive the enhanced funtionality
