It simply proposes interpreting the Bible in its own context, yes, including the context of the surrounding nations, to which the ancient Israelites consistently turned in terms of culture and religion as the Old Testament points out over and over, as opposed to interpreting the Bible in a 21st century context, which is completely foreign to the biblical
New iPad never used with the church's wifi. It never connected so it couldn't synch. Problem solved! I'll try again at a later time!
Well that definitely explains it! Glad you figured it out.
-
If you see it on your computer and sync it to the cloud, then it should show up on your iPad. Maybe force close the app on the iPad and see if that causes it to re sync. Other than that, I can't think of anything that would cause it not to show up.

I might be mistaken, but I think these were specialty collections that were created for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, as there were several which I had not seen before, so that could be it.

It is honestly a really economical way to get a lot of great Academic resources. If you have a base package then chances are you already have many of the resources, so the price should come down a good bit. You certainly get Dr. Heiser's works, which I like, but even if you don't, you still get a solid academic library with many highly sought after

For me this falls under the category of resources where there should be an understanding that since part of the set was offered, then the remainder of the set will be offered. When people purchase partial sets, the expectation is that they will be able to finish that collection. I know that Faithlife doesn't see it that way, but they should. Subsequent

In the 2021 edition of Denver's recommendations, Gupta's volume is still a recommended commentary in the 3rd category
Thanks for pointing this out! I had the 2020 edition.
Remember that you can build the personal books of the Denver recommendations here , and I keep

While working in the sermon builder, the window seems to be refreshing or something, as it would suddenly make my curser go to the top and the slides will refresh (from white to black as they do when you first include a slide). It happens about every minute or two.

New Documents Illustrating Early Christianity (10 volumes), Eerdmans. I came across this set while reading Ben Witherington's The Letters to Philemon, the Colossians, and the Ephesians: A Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on the Captivity Epistles . It would be extremely useful to the study of early Christianity to have this set available in Logos. You can

Well, the links don't work now. It was a good deal while it lasted.
Have patience...
Agreed. They were clearly putting the packages together as we were seeing them, as there were new ones added every hour, and they clearly didn't mean for us to see them since they didn't come up in a search
Any more logos 6 legacy libraries out there?
Yes, go here and look at the "This title is included in the following collections" section. They are listed among those! I edited to add the link I forgot!

I'm curious to how you use Logos in conjunction with notes programs (Logos or external), bibliographic programs, and your word processor when writing academic works. I'm just curious to know your basic process from researching from Logos to writing. To break it down a little more, let's say that you are writing on a topic that will require you to use

Thank you Faithlife for the latest Galaxie Journal update (volume 24)
How does this work? Do you buy it once and then get the updates with dynamic pricing?
Yes, and to give you an idea of the cost after you purchase the collection, I own all of the previously released journals

I put a feedbear request up here so that you can vote, and there is a discussion here . First published in 2011, The Jewish Annotated New Testament was a groundbreaking work, bringing the New Testament's Jewish background to the attention of students, clergy, and general readers. In this new edition, eighty Jewish scholars bring together unparalleled
