  • Re: Help with crashing logos 6

Well, it still crashes but only when opening my NT exegesis or OT exegesis or Topical layouts. Nosing around in the error log I think it might be a open search window? So, I guess I have to delete those layouts and start over? Otherwise, it looks like I still have my settings and my other two layouts still work (helps and commentary). New error log

  • Help with crashing logos 6

I followed the directions for a crashing logos by holding down ctrl-key and opening logos. Unfortunately, this means I lost all my customization setup. Or did I? Also, I'l attach the error file for anyone who thinks they can spot the problem so I can avoid it in the future. thanks, shawn 7433.LogosError.log

  • Re: Information panel layout: bring back the previous version please

The previous version had the same info but no titles for sections. But they were separated by slight space difference. If a future release did the same thing but made the sections "blocks" (visually by hovering?), then they could be moved around like the new version but save on space. just a thought. I know this whole program is involved and appreciate

Strange. I never signed up with beta.

  • Information panel layout: bring back the previous version please

I know this is a judgment call, but I find the new information tool panel layout less helpful then the previous one a month or so ago. The new layout wastes more visual space in a way the previous did not. I do not recall my layout details previously beyond the fact that rearranging and subtracting elements, etc. in this new layout is not giving me

  • Re: Logos 6 is Slow

"When I first bought Logos 6, it seemed much faster. What happened?" I noticed that as well with respect to first starting the program. Now it first starts slower (about 1 minute) before I can start using it. I think it loads quicker when I close it and start it again. (I suspect some indexing or some such because Chrome does the same thing on first

  • Re: What do I pay with a pre-pub commitment?

Under the pre-pub billing info there is "delete" and "done". But you are right. If I never go to that page, it's "done."

OK. So, there's community pricing and pre-pub pricing. I thought they were the same. Thanks. I"ll "done" it and get my wonderful 40$ price! thanks all!

  • What do I pay with a pre-pub commitment?

Hello, I've looked around and cannot find a clear answer: I put a pre-pub price request (X) for Preacher's Homiletic Commentary. What price am I paying? When I put the price request a while back, the book page notes: "Click on the highest price you'd pay. If the final price is lower, that's what you'll pay." But the final price is significantly higher

"I would like to be able to right click a hyper link and tell it to go to a zone in a workspace that I designate, including floating panels. I spend too much time shifting new windows where I want, but this may be only me." Not just you. Maybe they can be rearranged but I've not found out how yet. Too many other things to learn first.

Interesting Richard: how does one turn off the tablet input feature? As for graphics: I have a dedicated ATI 4600 series, 1Gb memory. The exegsis setup was not to my liking in v.3 either until I tweaked it and got the information bar trick going (hovering over greek words and getting the parsing automatically). Closing the tabs, however, there is no

  • Disappointed

I finally upgraded to 4 from the 3 series after over a year of reminders. It runs slow. And the new interface is less than intuitive, especially the exegesis setup (closing tabs, moving the screens, etc.) I have a i7 quad-core, 6Gb memor, and 500Gb harddrive. Plenty of speed and power and it is still slow after updates. Very disappointed. Going back

  • Re: Android app only for Logos 4 books?

Kevin, That's the ticket! After getting 3.e last year they said it was discontinued. So I never updated again. Thanks!

Thank you. I'll update. And then see if I can replicate what Chris did since he claims to have access. I have the scholar's edition so I would think more than the ASV bible would be accessible!

  • Android app only for Logos 4 books?

Maybe I am the only guy with logos 3.0e, but I think this app will not download books from that platform. I tried the update button but only get the ASV. I know it will "position" *sync* with 4.0 but does that mean I cannot download *any* books from 3.0e? thanks,
