• Re: Evernote 3.5 conflict?

Since there are a couple of Evernote users on this thread, once you get it working, you may want to consider voting for my user voice suggestion for improved integration with Evernote. http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1012485-import-export-notes-to-from-evernote-?ref=title

  • Re: Evernote 3.5 conflict?

Rick, I'm using Evernote 3.5.5.2672 along with Logos v4 (4.04.4.3415) on Win7 Ultimate 64 bit with no issues (I use the combo every day).
System.OutOfMemoryException
I noticed that in your previous post..how much memory do you have? I'm running with 8GB RAM and ATI 5770 class video card w/1GB.

  • Re: Export options in the 4.1 beta?

Thanks Philip. I've added the request for export to ToodleTo and other task/project managers on User Voice: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1016055-add-option-to-export-prayer-lists-to-toodledo-task Anyone else here use ToodleDo or interested in this type of export functionality?

  • Re: Export options in the 4.1 beta?

Are there any export options for the prayer list in the beta? I'd sure love to be able to export the prayers to ToodleDo so they show up on my daily to do/task items.

In the beta forum, they report that beta drop #9 has the following export options right now: RTF text HTML XPS Reading plans ICS (Icalendar) Alas, no Evernote yet. :-(
Sorry Linden, no evernote yet. :-)
Thanks for the update Thomas and Philip. If anyone else is interested in requesting this functionality be added to the roadmap, I've got the suggestion in uservoice: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1012485-import-export-notes-to-from-evernote

  • Export options in the 4.1 beta?

I'd be grateful if someone that is testing out the beta could tell me what destination formats you can export to? Any chance is there is an Evernote export option?

  • Re: Suggestion- right-click Export to Evernote?

I've added Evernote interoperability to the Logos UserVoice web site http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1012485-import-export-notes-to-from-evernote-?ref=title . If you like this idea, please vote for it so it can be considered in the roadmap.

  • Re: Suggestion- right-click Export to Evernote?

Glad you brought this up. Olive Tree's BibleReader for iPad/iPhone exports notes to/from Evernote. If Logos had similar functionality it would be awesome as I could share notes between both apps. Even better if the Logos iOS app also supported Evernote. I'm guessing this needs to be added as a suggestion on UserVoice and hopefully others will be interested

  • Re: Updating to iOS4 deletes offline books

Kevin, I learned the hard way that iTunes backup is very iffy for 3rd party application data. I did a backup/restore a couple months back, lost all my gas cubby data then did a google seach and discovered on the gas cubby forums that this (failed/partial restores) happen all the time. They recommend that all data be backed up remotely before any restore
By the way, you spell your first name (I assume) the same way that I used to spell mine. My passport has the current spelling, so I was forced to change over.
Wow, interesting story. Meet lots of Lyndons and Lyndens but I think only one other Linden. No control how my name was spelled--determined by my parents
Does anyone have the "Origins Journal" that I posted a few links above? It was definitely written from a young earth view point.
Yes, I've got it. Its also sold by the ABC (where I got I think for ~$9). It was unbelievably painful to install in Logos 4 (although its easy to install w/Libronix). Logos does not

  • Re: Why can't some verses be added to a Passage List

Ok. I think I figured this out. I have to ensure that reference (and not selection) is selected when you use the context menu. This seems to always have the option to add to the open passage list(s). Not very intuitive (at least to me). But I do like the passage lists!

  • Why can't some verses be added to a Passage List

I tried to add 1 Tim 6:10 (HCSB) to my passage list by right clicking on the verse number. There was no option to add it to the open passage list. I did the same on the previous verse, and the option was there in the context menu. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? It seems quite random which verses have this context menu and which don't.

    The plot thickens.
So I surmise it is Default, which is the stable channel for an RC or "gold". Somebody at Logos may have goofed and released 4.0c RC1 on Stable but quickly realised their mistake!?
I'm learning more and more to this explanation. RC2 came out today and I did not get an update, nor did update now indicate

Fred, Thanks for the tip. The "set update channel" dropdown doesn't show either option. It does however give me the autocomplete option of "set update channel to Default". Is there an explicit command that will report the channel I'm on?

The about dialog does not indicate that its using the beta channel. Is there a command I can enter that will report the active channel?

  • Re: Auto upgrade to 4.0c release candidate?
Is it possible that you had manually set the update channel to beta some time previously, then set Automatically Download Updates to No, and declined announcements of available updates until the 4.0c RC 1 update yesterday?
No. I never explicitly set the channel. I downloaded the 4.0b RC2 installation executable

  • Auto upgrade to 4.0c release candidate?

Last night, 4.0b upgraded to 4.0c RC on its own. I figured it happened because the RC was promoted to golden master, but no one else reported this, so I'm wondering how this happened? I did install 4.0b RC2 before that was deemed the GM but haven't installed any betas since if it is at all relevant.

  • Optimizing Logos 4 on an SSD

I'm setting up a new computer with an 80GB SSD. I want all my executables on the boot (SSD) drive and user data on my 7200RPM HDD. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention to where Logos binaries were installed and they ended up on my user data drive and not on the SSD. Is there any way after the fact to move Logos 4.0b binaries without having to reinstall
