• Re: Hebrew Keyboard defaults to Bold

Thanks to Logos tech support for answering this question. The problem is in my MSWord Settings. Not entirely exactly how the default to bold happened, but some time in the past I used bold Hebrew type, and I inadvertently did something which makes this the default style setting for Hebrew fonts. Through trial and error I think I may have eliminated

  • Hebrew Keyboard defaults to Bold

When I use the Logos Hebrew Keyboard to type text in MS Word, the default setting is Bold. I can turn this off everytime I open it, but is there an easier way? Is there a setting that I can change so that the default is plain text? Thanks.

Did my latest file show any results, or do I need to go with plan B?

Thanks for the response. I will attempt this later, right now I'm a bit overwhelmed with other things. In the meantime, if it crashes again I will send another log report, just in case there is anything new to consider.

okay, I stand corrected. As stated before, it has crashed three times while highlighting words, either to copy, or look up a word, or do a word search. It does not happen every time. It can be working fine for an hour then suddenly crash when I am performing a task which it had no problem with before. Attached is the log file. 6874.Logos Log Files.zip

I will keep the rest of my responses confined to that thread. My operating system is very well maintained, in many ways better than the systems I ran other versions of Logos on.

  • Logos 6 - Multiple Crashes - Worst Ever

I have been running Logos since before Logos 2.0 on various operating systems beginning with Win 95. It has NEVER crashed on me until I was forced to "upgrade" to 6 so that logos would continue to work. I have opened Logos less than 10 times since I installed 6, and it has crashed three three of those times while performing simple functions (clicking

Thanks for the response. If that is where it is then Logos's directions are woefully inadequate: "Open your Documents folder....locate the Logos Log Files Folder." Reading the full directions, even if I do find this file, what I am being asked to do is still not completely clear, and it is going to be very time consuming. I feel like I am being asked

Ok, I followed directions. There is no "Logos Log File Folder" under my document files. There are several other folders but this one is not there.I also looked under Guides and Tools. I must say I am not happy with Logos 6. It crashed a third time, this time doing a simple word search in the NRSV. I have but using Logos since the mid 90s on a variety

Happened again, I double clicked a word to look it up, it crashed. (I Don't see your signature file or the directions you have asked me to follow).

  • Logos 6 Crash

I was recently using Logos 6 and I got a "Program note working" message and it shut down. I am using Windows 8.1, I have 16 gb of ram and plenty of unused space in my 1 TB harddrive. This is the only problem I've had. Otherwise it works fine, and seems to start up much more quickly than Logos 5.

hmmm. I'm not seeing a quarter circle. I've tried clicking the screen, that doesn't bring anything up. I've found the settings menu, but no option to link two resources is there.
Vyrso can only use the resources it has downloaded and it has a split screen to enable you to run two resources at once.
Hi Dave, I took another look at Vyrso on Windows 8. It is very bare bones, I don't see any way to split the screen, can you tell me the trick? Laurie

Thanks for the responses. To further answer my own question: I now have a computer running windows 8 and was able to install the Logos 5 upgrade I purchased in November. Windows 8 is designed to run as if it were a tablet, and the Logos (tablet) app can be installed on it. It is a very bare bones version, no split screen. Resources can be run through

  • Installing Logos 4 on More than one Computer

I'm sure these topics are covered, but my searches haven't yielded any results. I have some basic questions, and will have more later. 1. How many of my computers may I install Logos 4 on? (more than 2?) 2. Can Logos 4 be run on a computer similar to the phone Apps, where I would download the program and not download the resources, or only download

  • Re: Please Add an Exit Feature to the Android App

Thanks, I tried this and it seems to work. I didn't know this is an android feature, since most apps stay on unless exited. Apparently some of them override this feature and have to be turned off manually.

  • Please Add an Exit Feature to the Android App

See my previous posts, and the posts of others. Backing up all the way to the beginning, or killing the program with another app are unacceptable solutions. Please add this basic feature: Exit.

  • Re: Exit mobile app

I agree with this concern, it seems like a no brainer that an app, or any computer program would have an exit function. It is unacceptable to have to back up through everything you've done to exit an app. This can be quite time consuming, and one may wish to leave the current configuration for the next start up. It is also unacceptable to have to open
