Logos is driven by hungry commission driven sales people selling to people who want nothing more than to understand the Bible and serve God.
Several years ago (ca 2010) we learned that the Logos sales structure was switched so that salesmen didn't earn commissions anymore. Unless it was quietly changed back in the
IVP lady went on vacation, and is apparently out of the office. But she responded any way saying that per her boss, thats an acceptable amount of plagiarism copied words...
Interesting. Perhaps they can help with guidelines on the acceptable amount a flirting a married guy can engage in. Anyway, this whole discussion

That's what we've always offered, and what we plan to continue to offer .
That is a very worrisome statement. It is far less assuring than statements

  • Bible Search

Is there a way to do a Bible Search in the web app that constraints the search to a particular portion of Scripture? I don't see a dropdown that lets you narrow the search like the desktop app, and I can't seem to get the search to work using the existing hint in the search window (Put references in angle brackets: ) If I search " Christ", I get some

Hi Donnie, I preach from an iPad. I've used the smaller version, though my wife has the big one and I'm interested in trying that one out. Using the iPad has worked really well for me. I do feel like I "worry" about extra things, like having a battery run out or other technical difficulties, but I remind myself that there could be problems no matter

Tried running a tree on various words in the book of Mark, and if I exceed a certain threshold, the results get cut off and there is no way to scroll or zoom to see the rest. Here's an example of the problem.

Since I read it, I have felt like the #1 non-Bible book that every Christian should read is J.I. Packer's Knowing God .
I've approved your post. As far as I can tell, the system is working correctly. It's pretty much impossible to tell specifically why the system gave a false positive on your post.
I appreciate that you're taking active steps to prevent spam. I'm sure you'll refine the system as time goes on, but it

  • Re: The Latin Works of John Owen, in English

I have several pre-pubs that are languishing, and this is one of them. I wish that Pre-pub wasn't treated as a fixed-price community pricing scheme. If something might fail due to lack of interest, it's possible that price is the main reason. Throwing it up on CP would fix that issue, but instead a great work like this sits stuck. Faithlife, please

It seems like there was a pretty major update to the app recently. Previously when I restarted the web app, I'd get may tabs restored from where they were. After this apparent update, it reset to my primary Bible and the EEC commentary, linked (I don't believe I had had the EEC open before). When you do big updates to the app, can you please not change

  • Annoying Search Behavior

Whenever I pull up the search screen on a mobile app, it always resets itself to "Top Bibles". Can it please just stay on the last search settings I used? My last search was in the ESV as you can see in Recent Searches, but the app insists on always reverting after some sort of timeout.

Obviously all the audio is up at https://www.mljtrust.org/sermons/ and administered by the MLJ Trust. Apparently all of the sermons were transcribed and printed in the Westminster Record, but I could not find any old sources of that newsletter. 22 sermons are available here: http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/articles/index.php?view=category&cid=29
