Is there a way to see all your highlights in a resource besides moving up and down through a resource by annotation? It would be great to show just highlights or to pull highlights to a document.

Automatic. I update when the application has told me there is an update available and ready to install.
-
The last few updates I've seen this problem. I launch the application from the application folder and then replace the dock icon. Since the icon has been replaced I can't reproduce the issue until the next update.

I have a Mac Book Pro laptop running 10.10.2. After Logos 6 updates (currently on 6.0b SR-3) and I try to launch Logos from the dock it said Logos Bible Software 6 (61602.0.75) can't open because it's in the trash. I look in my trash and yes there is a file with that name in the trash. I look in my applications folder and I have a Logos Bible Software

That did the trick. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've had a database get corrupted and have to be deleted. If it's such a common issue, you'd think Logos would build a script to delete the most likely corrupted databases, possibly in an escalating order. Thanks for the quick response.

Here's the new logs. 2816.LogosLogs.DaveSmith.20131104-223028.zip

Deleted those files. Emptied trash. Then restarted my Mac. That did not resolve my issue. Any other suggestions?

It's been a while since I've used my iMac. But I updated it to 10.9 to test before upgrading my main machines. Anyway I tried to launch Logos today and it is crashing immediately. Sometimes I see the signing in screen, other times I don't. If I disable my wifi and get the log in screen, if I choose to work off line Logos crashes immediately after the

It would be great if Logos would create a better way to troubleshoot crashes. With as much data as these programs handle I imagine it's easy for a database or something to corrupt. A crash because "too many open files" seems like an odd error. I'm running on a maxed out MBPr (may day job is video production). Anyway deleting all my layouts and starting

For me L4 was pretty stable. But L5 has been very flaky. It crashes just sitting there, changing layouts, searching and more. I can't isolate a variable for the crashes. Any ideas where to look? 4061.Logging.zip

This week I started a new job and got a new iPhone. I synced my phone with my Mac at home and restored all my apps. But when I log into the logos app I can't access any content (library is empty, searches return nothing). I've deleted the app, restarted and then reinstalled the app. When I reinstall the app I log into my account but I still have no

Jack, That's what I thought I was doing. But I tried it again and now it's working. Chalk it up as user error. Thanks for the feedback.

I like to use the note feature to take notes of books I'm studying. I tend to copy quotes that stand out to me. How do I copy the location/link of the quote I copy? Using copy location doesn't give me an active link using the copy location then paste commands.

From an end user's stand point I hope not. Two reasons: 1) While the App Store is slick one thing the App Store (whether for iOS or Mac) hasn't been able to figure out is how to handle paid updates. This is fine for cheap $5 apps where a new version means buying a new app, but not with more expensive software. Software like Logos or Apple's Final Cut

Until Logos incorporates highlighting and/or 2 window viewing with the ability to copy/paste to notes I don't use the Logos iPad app unless I'm taking notes on paper. For me personally unless I can annotate or take notes I don't remember what I read. Now I use my iPad a ton with the Kindle app and iBooks because I can take notes/ highlight what I read
-
The biggest feature missing on the Mac for me is notes. I use them all the time on the PC version. Once I can write notes on the Mac side I'll probably stop using the PC version. So I find myself using the PC version 95% of the time. I tried running Logos in VM programs (I used both Fusion and Parallels, albeit the previous version) and I found both

Grudem taught through his book at his church. They recorded them and put them online with his class outlines. http://www.christianessentialssbc.com/messages/

Thanks for the response. Just one of those things that makes you wonder. I do have to say on the system Logos and every other app remains responsive. And it always indexes quicker than it estimates. A 22 hour estimated index usually takes 2 hours. Go figure. Projects I estimate will take me 2 hours usually take 6-8.

Recovering from 5 years of full time youth ministry at a mega-church or burn out if you want to call it that. Going on 6 years of doing media production (video/graphic design + live sound). Wrestling with a call to get back into some capacity of pastoral ministry.

I've got two macs I use Logos on. I also realize my workstations may not be your typical Logos user workstations as my day job is in video production/ graphic design for my church. That said on my laptop (2009 MBP) Logos will use most of the processing power when indexing. Activity Monitor shows about 160-180% of a possible 200. But on my MacPro (a
