Whilst we're on this it would be really useful to be able to link easily (especially thinking about the location) to books we don't own, but do exist in Logos. Books that I own in paper, but haven't bought in Logos would be an example of when this would be useful, this would help if I ever bought them in Logos and if PBB's can eventually be shared.

Hi Fred, As far as I'm aware you can't, however if you print to a new word document then you can just remove the footer. Obviously it will leave all other formatting. Graham's way is best for Bible exports, you can always define your own style to get it as you want. Kenny

Hi Morris, How long ago did you install Logos on the mac and can you give us a couple of books that are missing? Kenny
-
Unfortunately you can't get antihistamine's for them either!
-
hmmm. as with the above poster seems to work fine on Safari on my mac os x 10.6.7. Wonder what is different with your machine? Does it scroll normally if you grab the bar rather than use the mouse wheel?

I'm UK based and the NIV is on the desktop version of Logos. (84 and 11) Kenny

Glad it's on the radar! Keep thinking (and doing!) Kenny

Just thought i'd air this as a kind of hope/suggestion! I have no idea how apple have implemented their full-screen app things, but those extra few pixels and few less distraction would be great for Logos!

Seems you are right. Glad I got the academic order in for my copy whilst I'm still a student. That puts that plan for PP out, looks like the 'we had' is still a 'we have', I guess we'll head open source. This thread possible highlights a significant issue with PBB only really being useful with MS Word.... Kenny

In which case I'm out of ideas, sorry I couldn't help anymore. I don't know where you live, but giving customer support a ring in 30 mins when they open might be best. They have UK and US numbers, else skype is free if you're elsewhere. Kenny

Hi Jason, All I seem to be able to tell is that it's trying to download something and hasn't got as far as indexing. I don't know how fast your internet connection is, nor how big the files are, but it does look like at some point you left it running for over half an hour so unless your connection is really slow I guess it's not that (although it did

It doesn't on the mac version at the moment as far as I am aware and it's a real pain. Does anyone have any idea when this is likely to be fixed? Thanks
-
Hi Jason, Assuming you're not running the Beta version (you can check in the about Box) could you run the "update now" command, let it have a hunt until it gives you the message that they are found etc. and stops, then quite Logos and upload your logs as per How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac and someone will have a look and see if we can work out where

Hi Thomas, Richard is right regarding the EULA of home and student as we had a similar issue with people who do the Powerpoint for church on a Sunday either designing or running the PP from their own laptops with the home edition. However, MS do offer charity licenses to non-profits which are about the same price (if not slightly cheaper) than the home

God spot Ted... I hadn't got around to looking at Marks suggestion properly until now...I'll keep hunting for something on topic! Too many ways of using the same word! Kenny
-
Hi Robert, I have (several times! - and I still think I need to work through it again!) it wasn't for me, but for a friend who I probably will one day encourage them to work through the Piper book, but feel something to get them going and thinking first may be in order! But I agree with you that it is really really worth working through! Kenny

Thanks Mark, I'll have a look...

Hi all, Was wondering if anyone had any resource recommendations for me. I was looking for something like Piper's The Justification of God (i.e. dealing with similar issues) but that was somewhat 'lighter' and more generally accessible? Thanks! Kenny
-
Hi Mark, I've tried on the Mac, it has a go but the indexing seems to fail. Logs attached. Kenny 3644.Logging 3.zip

Thanks Theolobias, that will teach me to read replies properly! :) Kenny
