Bump for February 2019
-
I’m going to bump this each month. Wanted this feature for years and I think it’s silly FL has not implemented it yet.

I don’t know Greek or Hebrew. When I highlight a word, what I want is an encyclopedia definition, not the Hebrew/Greek usage. I notice when I switch to airplane mode, I achieve this. Logos will pull up my AYBD for a term. But this only works in airplane mode. Is there a way to make this work when not in airplane mode too? Logos would be infinitely more

Latest iOS and app and I’m still having all kinds of issues. Blank screens, inability to turn pages or scroll, merged squished lines, going to a new verse doesn’t actually go to the verse... all of this happens randomly but regularly....
-
I also experienced this issue at random.
-
Thanks for the tips, but it happens with any resource when the bug appears.
-
In addition to the blank screen issue and crashing, im also running into two more issues on iOS. The first is weird word selection. I try to select a word but the word I want isn’t selected and some random word is. I’ve attached screenshots. The second is resources just stopping and I can no longer scroll beyond a point. Like in scrolling view I scroll

@Todd It happened to offline resources. Happens when I’m flipping between panes or looking stuff up.
-
When I am using 8 on my iOS devices the text in a resource pane vanishes. It defaults to the background color and no matter which pane I switch with to or even if I open a new resource, no change. Zero text and blank background. Only solution is to force close the app and restart it. How to replicate this bug? I don’t know. But it is happening all the

I also don’t like the new font at all. I’m surprised that FL would do this without letting us choose the font. To single handedly change something critical without asking for user input is what Apple does with ports for example... I hope for a reversion or a font picker setting.

When scrolling view is turned off... on iOS when I swipe down it brings up the top and bottom menu. on android swiping down does nothing and I have to tap the screen to bring up the top and bottom menu. I would like android to work like iOS because on android I often accidentally tap on a link instead of a non link area which results in something other

Ah. I misunderstood. I thought you meant the “new version of [logos on] IOS”. Thanks.
-
Where did you find that? I can’t seem to find a screen record feature.
-
I didn't know about tapping. That is probably the intended way to select a verse. Thanks for the guidance! Going forward, I hope they allow us to change a verse by tapping when the menu was visible. That would save some time.

IOS doesn't have a back button. Prior to the last update, I could use two fingers to go back to some previous location. Maybe started in John, then ended up in Romans. While in Romans I could use two fingers to go back to John. That functionality is now gone in the IOS update... please tell me this is unintentional. I found that if I swipe down somewhere

I like the new features but... part of me is sad to see some of the old features go. When using the interface for the new passage guide, I found an annoying bug. It seems whenever you swipe down on a verse, you don't get that verse for passage guide. You get the prior verse you swiped down. Once you swipe it down a second time, then you get the correct

Dave. Thanks for the tip. How do I add a keyword onto the author search? author:Calvin baptism author:Calvin AND baptism Neither work. What’s the correct search command?
-
I don't do a lot of author searching but had a need for it today. I went to search, picked all text in all resources. author:calvin Returns 20 resources. Fails to return... Institutes of the Christian Religion Calvin Commentaries (various but all missing) What gives? Am I doing something wrong?

The 12.9 is great but in my opinion impractical for reading in bed reclined. It's awesome for split screen reading while taking notes via an attached keyboard. But as a pure reader the 10.5 or 9.7 edges it out imho.
