I personally think Logos makes the whole upgrade process very confusing. I understand it now but a year ago I had the same feelings as Larry. Maybe the best thing for Logos to do is divorce these packages from the updated software. Make the software versions available for free immediately but then sell a 2014-2015 library 'new resource upgrade' for
It does sound like a good one. The only caveat to mention and I will gladly be corrected if wrong, is Logos must be in main memory (not on a SD card) so as long as 32 GB is going to be enough for you (which it should since one typically doesn't load one's entire library). -Dan
I have a lot of logos resources loaded

Back in the day I bought a Nexus 7 tablet which was fantastic until I bought my Galaxy Note 2 phone. The phone is so large that I started using the Nexus 7 tablet less and less since it's only 7" and my phone was now 5.5". I eventually wanted to get a larger tablet, probably 10", for lounging in the house and also heavy reading on Logos. After looking
Was it me or were these deals not really obvious when upgrading?
These "deals" are not the add-on "packages" you are offered when you upgrade. These deals that I was commenting on are simply sales on individual titles. This was not offered to me when I added a base package to my cart. The only reason I realized
-
Maybe this is old news, but I just realized that when you add ANY Logos base package to your shopping cart it drops the price of tons of other items dramatically! For example, add the bronze base package to your shopping cart and the NICOT+NICNT drops from $1,699 to $999. Tons of other deals too! Doesn't matter which base package you pick, all the deals

What is the difference between the two? I'm confused.

Just to clarify, this occurs in the "input box" that appears when you swipe "down" (not up) on a resource in the reading pane. Initially, the book+chapter+verse appears but after swiping "left" to turn the page a few times, the book+chapter+verse are no longer displayed but simply the page number of the resource in the reading pane is displayed in the

Can anyone at least confirm that the first thing I listed is indeed a bug?
-
First a possible bug... when I view a commentary on Android and wipe down to bring the input box which has the current Book + Chapter + Verse, sometimes when I am reading a commentary it does not display this but simply displays the page number of the commentary. It seems that when I start out at a book, chapter, verse in the commentary all is well for

I feel bad for people (like myself) who have come to logos late and missed some community pricing favorites. Anyway, to get to my point, I think the early church father collection is a fantastic resource but cannot justify spending $220 when I already have the pdf files. Is there any way we could get a one time 50% special on this collection?

What happened to the history feature? I really loved it but can't find it anymore... is it still in there somewhere? Also did the font change? The font in my bibles seems different. I liked the previous font better.
-
Well, I do appreciate the input. It is good to learn how others use the app.

Select a resource (e.g., commentary) which causes the resource to be displayed in the RIGHT PANE because we selected "PG on Right" .
You can accomplish this by selecting PG from the commentary panel via up swipe or tap + Action item, provided it is linked to the bible (which would be

Maybe I confused you somewhere because I do not propose modifying the back button functionality at all. In a nutshell, I want Logos to implement a way so that when we swipe-up on something in one pane (ex., LEFT PANE) we can get a resource from the passage guide loaded in the opposite pane (e.g., RIGHT PANE). Here is the issue I am running into. I will
-
Yes, I have tried link panels and it is a handy feature. However, it does not achieve what my suggestion is trying to achieve. Presently, if I select passage guide on a passage in the bible in the left panel when I pick a resource from the passage guide to open there is no way to get it to open on the right panel but it instead opens in the left panel

Proposal : When we swipe-up on a verse in the left/right panel the common (Passage Guide / Comparison / Search) menu appears. I want to propose that a menu such as (PG on Left / PG on Right / Comparison / Search) appear and act accordingly so that if I swipe-up in the left panel and select “PG on Right” then the passage guide I select will appear in

Before when I would search a non-bible reference the corresponding entry would appear (ex., search for "mark" in the ISBE would return the entry for "mark" or search for "baptism" and you would get "baptism" in the ISBE). Now, when I search for something in a non-bible reference my default bible comes up (ex., search for "mark" in the ISBE would return

I agree with the history placement; I think it should be on the first page. The settings should be moved to the "more" page because how often do we change those? I use the history button the most.
