• Re: BUG: Wrong Pronunciation Style in Bible Word Study

Well that's unfortunate. I would really like to get at least an acknowledgement of these problems from someone official at Logos.

Yep, looks like that's really what I want. Expensive, but this is the sort of resource that I could see myself saving up for.

  • Creeds of the Churches or other collection of historical confessions

I would love to have a resource like Creeds of the Churches, Third Edition: A Reader in Christian Doctrine from the Bible to the Present edited by John H. Leith. It seems like something of this sort should be included in all of the base packages to me, since these creeds, confessions, canons, etc. are some of the most important primary sources regarding

The Word List feature has perfect timing. I'm starting my first quarter of Greek in two weeks. Does anyone know if this feature can be used for flashcards on either desktop or mobile? If not, is that coming later?

Awesome! I'm glad to hear this news, and I can't wait for Logos to start taking advantage of the new functionality this opens up for them. Personally, I can't wait for Logos to drop support for OS X Leopard on the Mac side. I understand why they wouldn't do it just yet, since it would leave PPC users in the dust, but the majority of Mac software dropped

  • BUG: Wrong Pronunciation Style in Bible Word Study

My pronunciation style (in the pronunciation tool) is set to Erasmian. It works correctly in the right-click menu, the pronunciation tool, and in the lemma section of Bible Word Study. It does not, however, work correctly in the "Grammatical Relationships" section of Bible Word Study. To reproduce: 1) Open pronunciation tool, enter "ζωὴ" in the search
Is there somewhere a classification that would help me find out what commentary belongs to which category?
bestcommentaries.com classifies all the commentaries on their site by type. It also tags Revelations commentaries by perspective (premil, amil, postmil), which can be pretty helpful.

  • Re: Sermon File Addin

I see. That does look useful, and I can also see why Logos would want to build this as an extension of current functionality rather than as something totally separate. Here's hoping everyone gets what they want whenever this does come out.

Honest question from someone who's never used Logos 3: what could Sermon Files do that Personal Books can't?

  • Re: Preferred fonts for personal books

I've been favoring Fontin for English text in Logos lately. It's just a touch more complex (less geometrical) than most sans-serifs and each character is more distinct. I feel like I comprehend things a little better and am less likely to skim. Here's an interesting study from Princeton, maybe this has something to do with it: Fortune favors the bold

  • Greek Text Not Rendering Properly in Popovers

I just got a Nexus 7 and I'm loving it, except the app support seems a little spotty and Logos is no exception. Take a look at the following screenshot, showing the popover of Louw-Nida: It looks like there's either some bad encoding going on, or some missing font characters. The text is fine when I open it in the main window. Can anyone else reproduce
