I was hoping for syncing of collections. :– (
That and prioritization. My Passage Guide is a mess in the mobile app.

I can confirm as well, I updated (from 2.1.3, since I had reverted back from 2.1.4) and everything seems to be working correctly.
Like me he already has Logos to Leaders level and I was surprised that it was felt that Logos might not be adequate.
If he's basing that opinion on the package he has, then he's right. I started with Bible Study, which has the same Original Language resources as Leaders, and even at my incredibly low level of language

I've been reading through Greek for the Rest of Us: Using Greek Tools without Mastering Biblical Greek by William Mounce and found it extremely helpful. He's a well-known Greek scholar and definitely knows his stuff (he was the head of the translation committee for the ESV) but this book teaches what he calls "baby Greek". The point of it isn't to be
I and another poster have mentioned having the same problem in another thread today. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/50314.aspx
I posted a reply in that thread, but I'll put it here too: This is a known bug with version 3.1.4 of Logos on iPhones and iPod Touches, which has been confirmed by a Logos employee

This is a known bug with version 3.1.4 of Logos on iPhones and iPod Touches, which has been confirmed by a Logos employee. See this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/49806/368469.aspx#368469 Down further in that thread I posted instructions on how to roll back to the previous version of Logos for iPhone if you have an older version backed

I highly doubt it. LEB isn't the type of translation that lends itself well to reading out loud. It's great for study, but it's a little lacking in 'flow'. In that sense, the robotic voice is sort of fitting.

Even as a pacifist, I agree with the theme of this thread. Memorial Day should be a day to remember all of those who have died in the name of redemptive violence. As Christians (no matter what our view on war), we should commemorate this day in a few other ways as well - we pray for our enemies, for those who have died on all sides of conflicts, and

Wouldn't it be better to write the notes in Word, then import them to Logos as a Personal Book? EDIT: Oops, I posted this before seeing Mark's reply. That's what I get for not refreshing the page.

After reading about his recent passing, I looked to find that none of Walter Wink's books are available in Logos. I would love to have, at the very least, his Powers trilogy ( Naming the Powers , Unmasking the Powers , and Engaging the Powers ). Some of his work on the myth of redemptive violence would be great as well.

This may be the funniest forum post I've ever read! I'm sorry for your misfortune, but I must say that was quite a clever way to ask for help! Now, as for getting back to where you were. KS4J's instructions are correct, but there is a simpler way to switch languages on the fly, provided the option is enabled (I believe it is by default when you have
Good to know, but I shouldn't have to wait for a major release for these fixes. Regressions should be fixed in SR's. And a lot faster than this! I have to say I was pretty shocked and pretty upset to find that, with all these regressions unaddressed, they had prioritized working on a new beta.
In their defense, Logos 4.5c

Just to reiterate, I posted the solution I used in a comment higher up in this thread. If you've updated through the app store on your phone but have an older version of Logos in your iTunes backup, you should be able to restore it.

Here's a screenshot.
When was this taken? Is it working now? Are you on wifi or cellular? Thanks for the notice. Will all known regressions introduced in 4.5b at least be tested and fixed before 4.5c leaves beta? Normally I wouldn't be too concerned, but with all the issues in 4.5b and now the broken lookup feature in the iPhone app, I'm a little more wary that usual.

I've been having the same problem. When I try to do a lookup on anything while online, it just sits there trying to load. Latest Logos version. iOS 5.1. Choosing "lookup" while offline uses the built-in iOS dictionary. This is just ridiculous. You'd think they would do at least the bare minimum of regression testing before submitting an update to the

As an overseas missionary, you may well be eligible for a number of scholarships that could significantly reduce the cost of admission to a more well-known seminary. I'm waiting to hear back from the admissions committee at Fuller Theological Seminary myself, and I know they have a fairly robust online curriculum. Gordon-Conwell is another that comes
Looking at copyright dates, BDAG (1957) precedes Louw-Nida (1988) by 3 decades so suspect BDAG was available when Louw-Nida numbering and domains were being developed. Caveat: BDAG includes references to a much wider range of Greek references: "Other Early Christian Literature".
Not sure where that copyright
