• Re: Bulk Star Ratings Not Working

And there's more. When I bring up the information panel for a single resource in the library, the "prioritize" list works but the "browse" tab shows a completely empty gray panel.

  • Bulk Star Ratings Not Working

I've reproduced this on two computers so far. In 4.5b SR-1, while in the library panel, I select multiple books (whether by ctrl-A, or shift-click) and it gives the option to "set the same rating for all". Problem is, there's no place to click on a star rating and actually set it. I can clear ratings without a problem. Can anyone else reproduce this

  • Re: Sync problem for ratings

I think the problem is on the desktop software side. I have the same issues, not only with ratings but prioritization, and even after a complete reinstall of the phone app they aren't synced. Does anyone know when these two sets of data are supposed to get the sync v2 treatment?

That's a great price too, I can't even find a used copy on Amazon of the older edition for $20.

I got a great deal on the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary by doing this, almost half off. I think the idea is that even though phone calls cost more, online ordering doesn't give them the opportunity to upsell.

Could anyone provide info about what the academic discount on this would be? I'm thinking about buying it since it's on sale, but I don't want to do that if the academic discount is as good or better since I'll qualify for that within a month or two.
Observation: Logos 4 has some unique user interface conventions that are neither Mac nor Windows (Files, Guides, and Layouts quickly come to mind). Personally Thankful that Logos 4 does behave consistently on Mac and PC; easy to switch platforms.
While I also see the benefit of a consistent user interface

Thanks Donovan for pointing out the nuances. I should probably clarify what I disagreed with about Fr. Matheny's post. I'm in no position to discount his experiences with Logos for Mac, and have myself shared many of those experiences. I completely agree that Logos has failed to deliver an adequately high-quality product (in terms of stability and performance
1. Logos is not going to dump everything and start over with something truly coded for Mac. 2. If they could make everything work correctly ( like something coded for osx ) they would have already done so, they cannot, it is quite impossible, so they won't. 3. Because you cannot make non-osx coding work like real
Correct. Must order Snow Leopard through the Apple website. You must install Snow Leopard before you can install Lion. Sorry to break it to you, but they don't sell Snow Leopard anymore. Not at Apple Stores at least. They only sell Lion, and that only through the Mac App Store.

This is a really upsetting decision on the part of... well... whoever made the decision (Zondervan or CBT). I happen to like the 2011 edition of the NIV better (at least from everything I've researched so far) but Logos is research software, and removing the most popular Bible translation ever sold from their catalog leaves a gaping hole. I sincerely
