Is Paul: Fresh Perspectives the same book as Paul: In Fresh Perspective ?
I recall reading (I think in Justification ) that Wright's choice for the title was Paul: In Fresh Perspective , and that's what the British edition was called. Paul: Fresh Perspectives was chosen by the American publisher. Wright isn't a fan

Are you guys using the beta (Alabama/Graham)? The rest of us are still on 2.0.2, unless I missed something.
Is it so difficult to believe so many of us might simply, at least in this instance, actually prefer the writings of the late pastor, Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones in lieu of NT Wright? Now, if the choice were between, say, DA Carson or John Owen and Dr. Lloyd-Jones, I'd opt for Carson or Owen. Those aren't my choices at the present

I wonder if someone spammed the voting system. Not to be too negative, but it doesn't seem to be very strict about the number of times you can vote. You don't even have to be logged in.

I have to say I agree with the OP here. eBooks should cost, for the base product, less than a paper book. There's no printing cost, no materials cost, no warehousing overhead, no shipping costs... it's dramatically cheaper. The marginal costs on an eBook can be measured in fractions of pennies , and the fixed costs are still less than paper. If publishers

Logos is reporting that 143.5 MB of updates are available, but when I select "download now" the download starts and then stall out at 9%. A few times I've been able to get it to go up to around 43% by canceling the download and then running the "update now" command, but it hasn't gotten further than that. The weird thing is that I don't even know what

Oh, and as far as unChristian goes, I can confirm it's a very interesting read. I was borrowing a friend's copy when I read it, so I'm glad to see it here for such a good price. There have been several times that I've wished I could go back and reference it.

I've been working my way through Greek for the Rest of Us: Using Greek Tools without Mastering Biblical Greek , by William Mounce, and I've found it very helpful. It provides a bare minimum of Greek knowledge, but it's enough to help me understand commentaries and other Greek resources in Logos better. He also does a good job emphasizing that at this

What do you think this means?
there are two options for you: further use of the SESB based on Libronix 3 or moving to Logos 4."
To me that sounds like they may be releasing L4-only editions of the SESB contents, just not as a package. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking....
Amazon sells all songs for 99 cents US each. One does not have to buy the CD. One gets that MP3 song as a download and can use it on any device by a single owner. There is no copy protection on that MP3 file other than a 6 digit serial number which may not be removed. That is why I buy all my songs from Amazon. Apple, on the

We're too far along now for anyone to fill out a full bracket, but just for fun let's see if we can predict the final four and the winner. I'm looking for predictions here, not preferences. Here's mine: Final four: D1 (U.S. Pastors) - J.I. Packer D2 (E.U. Pastors) - Charles Spurgeon D3 (U.S. Scholars) - D.A. Carson D4 (E.U. Scholars) - N.T. Wright Wright

I've been a longtime Pages user (iWork as a whole, actually) and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The layout tools, typographical tools, and OS integration are unmatched by Word, and while in school I emailed documents back and forth with professors who used Word with no issues, even when using advanced tools like Track Changes. The only important feature

this should also be reported as a bug
Personally, I don't think so. Notes were not meant to write an essay or book… they were meant to create short notes. I would think that you are pushing it if you take your notes past a couple of pages.
I agree on the purpose of notes, but this

While the notes function may not be intended for such heavy use, it's very disconcerting that notes are being lost! The right solution may be to create a Personal Book, but this should also be reported as a bug. I'd love for a developer to weigh in on this thread.
With Apple adding siri voice dictation to iOS 5.1, wonder about dictating notes in Logos ?
It looks like voice dictation is built into the system keyboard, so I bet Logos won't even need to update their app to work with it!
In response to this endless and inane babbling about reducing bids I have increased mine to $160, if you want more people to bid then this is where you need to put your effort, a high indicative price should have absolutely no impact on this process and to suggest otherwise perpetuates a misunderstanding of CP.
