I took a look at your logs, but it doesn't appear that Logging was properly enabled. If you encounter the crash again, would you turn on logging and repost logs? Thanks, Tom

It has always bugged me that any new tab would ever open in a single-panel floating window. I'd prefer if that never happened.
What I intended to
I am seeing this fairly consistently now - when opening Factbook or BWS entries if I have an open floating window then the new panels are opened there. If there are no floating windows these panels are opened docked.
I can reproduce this behavior and we'll tweak it so that single panel floating windows are not given
Upon opening Factbook proceeds to rebuild whatever was the last item I looked up. In contrast the Topic Guide enters what I last looked up in the topic field but waits for me to hit enter before running. Please make Factbook function like Topic Guide in this case.
That behavior is "by design" currently because like
I'm glad this thread is here... I was just thinking it'd be good to have a Factbook search available for any word, via right click.
Factbook is a curated subset of Biblical data: Topics, People, Places, Things, Events, Biographies, Cultural Concepts. It won't have data for arbitrary words. As David and MJ mentioned, any

Dan, When I drag a selection of text from page 129 to a bibliography document, I get the erroneous citation that you do as well. It looks like this is a problem with the book that the "General Editor's Preface" article is incorrectly tagged. It appears to be a book bug. I'll file a case with our book development team to review this.
This has been a consistent problem, and I hope Logos addresses it for 6.0a or soon thereafter.
Rosie, We've started looking into this issue. Hopefully it will appear in a beta soon. Thanks, Tom
Bump. This is still a major problem with L6. Factbook, Exegetical Guide, Passage Guide, etc. still come up much (most? all?) of the time in a window that's way too small. Those multi-section guides and tools really need to come up in the tallest window available if there's no other hint as to where it ought to go (e.g. a window
Was this feature ever implemented? Exporting the bibliography to excel? The only way I know how to do this is to open the catalog.db file in SQL Browser and export it into a .csv file, but that way doesn't always work well for me.
No, it hasn't been implemented. But we fixed a bug with RIS export in 5.2b SR-7. If you

If you set the zoom level of the panel to the 3rd tick from the left, does it fix the issue? It looks like based on your screenshot that this is a panel scaling bug. Alternatively, try setting the default resource font size to 100% and the program scaling to 100% and see if that helps. Tom

Bob, Thanks, I didn't see that post.
Every time I try to type something in the search box for the Logos Bible Software Help, the program crashes. Have others experienced this? Is it a known bug?
Thanks for reporting this Mark. It would be helpful if you could include logs of the crash (See https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging )

Michael, Thanks for reporting this. Can you provide us some logs? (See https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging ) Also, which diagram are you attempting to export? Tom

Thanks for reporting this. Our developers noticed a couple of other places on Mac where this happens too, so we'll be looking into all of those bugs. Tom

Can you post a screenshot of the behavior you're seeing, or logs? Thanks, Tom
That does not bode well for the ability to improve performance on the OS X platform. Not good news.
Here are some relevant posts from several years ago when we launched Logos 4 on Mac https://community.logos.com/forums/p/12648/99060.aspx#99060 (See Bob's response immediately following).

Yes, that does seem like a bug. I'll file a case.

Thanks Otto… We have a fix for this internally, looks like it didn't get into SR-1. As a work around, you can change your view to "Sort results by search rank" instead of "Sort results by book" Tom

Thanks Lewis… I thought it might be a codec issue, but I think based on discussions I've seen among some of our devs here the issue has more to do with program/panel scaling. The thread you linked to that Todd posted seems to validate that. For future readers, see Andrew's response and following posts: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/93041/646474

Thanks Otto. I've created a case for this…
