  • Re: Locate and then Move Logos Library files

I just tried this on Windows 10 and there are couple minor changes. First, you'll probably need to run the command prompt as admin (search for cmd from the start/windows button, right-click on it, run as administrator). Second, the command is "mklink" (missing the k in the original example). Lastly, the order of the paths was swapped. So, for me, I

  • Re: OT Click Tricks for Mac

There are a couple apps that I've found that can accomplish much of the same thing as Click Tricks on a Mac. The first one is called Highlight. It allows you to draw lines, ovals, rectangles, etc on your screen. It's very basic, but it's free. Here's the link: http://krugazor.free.fr/software/highlight/ The other app that does a few more things is called

Microsoft's ones are pretty robotic. If it's a feature you'd use often, it might be worth you purchasing new voices. The best I know

I've got the MacArthur set, too, and I didn't even think about checking for audio books for that set. Now I'm really regretting not keeping either disc.

  • Re: Audio Books Status?

Did the disc have the MP3s on it? I never actually opened the disc since I'm running L4. I just called into customer service and gave them the serial number, which activated the books on my account. I tossed the box into the recycling bin. Whoops. I have used the text-to-speech and, as Bruce mentioned, it's a little too robotic for my tastes. But I

  • Audio Books Status?

Any updates on when/if audio books might be implemented into L4? I checked the missing features page, but it doesn't list it. Not much discussion in the forums or on the blog either, so I guess it's not a high-priority item. I probably wouldn't have thought about it if I hadn't recently picked up the Lucado LifeWorks Library off the bargain rack at

  • Copying Infographics to Keynote/PowerPoint

I'm not currently able to copy infographcis (or any image apparently) out of Logos 4 Mac to use in Keynote, PowerPoint, or any other software. I've tried two-finger tapping and control-clicking, neither works. I am able to control-click on words in books. I'm running version 4.10.4.5314.

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcuts for Mac

Thanks for posting this! I was having trouble finding it, but I realized that searching Help in the menu bar searches the Mac help. You have to click "Logos Bible Software Help" first to be able to get to the keyboard shortcut list. Thought I should post that just in case someone else has the same problem. That said, I'm really happy about the Command

  • Re: I know Bob said... but,

Just gonna add my two cents here. I've been MUCH happier with L4Mac than the previous version of Libronix for the Mac. I disliked the last software so much I got a refund and stopped using it. L4Mac, even with it's flaws and shortcomings compared to the Windows version, has been very usable for me on a daily basis. I can do the majority of what I need

  • Re: Indexing on every program start in A11

I wasn't able to get the "Move Files" option come up when I downloaded the dmg file, so I guess I'll have to wait to test my theory until A13 is released.

  • Re: Indexing on every program start in A11

I'm having the indexer start every time I launch Logos 4 in A12 and I think I know why: AppTrap. In previous updates, I've usually had the AppTrap dialog pop up asking me if I wanted to Move Files or Leave Files and I've selected Move Files (to the trash). With this update I decided to leave the files and I'm having the indexer run every time. Here

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcuts for Mac

Thanks Tom! I'd find it VERY useful if somehow you could sneak in just one keyboard shortcut with the next update: the shortcut to the command bar. I think it's Alt+D in Windows (?). Pretty much every time I'm using Logos on the Mac side I'm trying to quickly jump there. Keep up the good work! The software seems really stable overall for me!

I'm running XP in VirtualBox on my MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard. Logos 4 seems to work just fine for my setup.

  • Keyboard Shortcuts for Mac

I've seen the list of shortcuts for the Windows version of Logos 4, but I can't find a list of shortcuts for the Mac version. Is there a list of existing and/or planned keyboard shortcuts? Even if they're not all implemented I'd love to know which ones are coming once the beta version of the software comes out. In particular, I'd love to be able to

  • Logos 4 Mac & AppTrap

I was inspired by the last two posts on the Logos Blog to actually get involved in the forum, so here goes. I'm running Logos 4 on my MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard) and I also have AppTrap running to remove files when I uninstall apps. Every time Logos 4 updates AppTrap asks me if I want to leave files or move them to the trash. I've said move files ever
