  • Multiple search tags for notes

There may be a feature that helps that I'm missing, not sure. I find notes extremely frustrating as there is one and one note subject for classification, or searching. It seems the logical solution is a way to have multiple search tags and a search feature to find them. This is a common approach in many other kinds of software. So far I haven't been

  • Moravian Reading Plan

I see quite a number of reading plans in the product. I wonder if there has been any thought to partnering with the Moravians. They have published their Daily reading (Losungen in German) since 1731 and these readings are used by millions of believers. This would be a great add on to the Logos product.

Dumb question, but what is the CBV panel?

  • Notes and tags

I see a new feature in notes that seems to indicate that a note can have more than one tag. I have looked at the various videos and other resources and can find nothing that describes how it is intended to be used. Is it searchable for example. It appears that this feature is only available on the desktop version and not the iPhone version (to either

  • Highlighting is not working correctly

In Logos 6 when I try to highlight a passage, it seems to have a mind of it's own and starts much earlier and/or goes to the end of an entire paragraph when trying to highlight a phrase for example. It is impossible to select a phrase, it seems to operate by whole verses or paragraphs. Anyone else with this problem, or has a solution it's driving me

  • Re: Notes and tags

I still haven't heard if there is an intended use for tags? I can't find documentation anywhere and so am still confused. It seems like it could be a basis of a powerful tool, but can't figure out that there is actually a way to use them?

Some form of instruction needed as no clues on how to use this new feature or what it actually does. It is not intuitive "Offline Greek and Hebrew Word Lookup (requires downloaded Lexicons)"

  • Guides in mobile

I find the guides in mobile version to be very clunky. I may be missing how it is supposed to work. But I can't figure out how to highlight a passage to go directly to the related passage guide, or the same with a word to the word guide. That makes the feature very awkward to use. Am I missing something. THis used to be quite easy in earlier versions

Thanks for the pointers. It was user error, so your instructions were very helpful. I was trying to use lookup for words, and the passage guide from the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom right. So they each do something, but are not the handy link.

The reference seems to be about spell check so no it doesn't help with the question My basic questions are: what is the design purpose of this feature (what is this feature supposed to accomplish) How is it meant to be used (Can't find any instructions) How is it meant to be used if it doesn't work cross platform Is this meant to be accessible in search

This is an interesting feature, but not the subject of my question. When you use that same drop down arrow on the note there is an option to add a tag, which then pops open a tag window at bottom of note in which it appears you can put anything you want. I'm not quite sure on how that is to be used. I can't quite see how you search notes (search window

  • Re: Notes and tags

Thanks for the description Larry, this is what I'm experiencing as well. I would love to see the tags appear in a Topic Guide so you would have what you had added integrated with the material purchased. I would also like to see them more easily accessible in a regular search, which is why I started with a question about what was intended with the design

  • Re: Visual Copy customization

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I often customize with my own graphics, so until I can build a way to easily change the graphic design and substitute my own background pictures etc. the feature doesn't help me much. But it shows promise and I hope it will continue to develop.

  • Linking to books in library

I may be confused. I had thought one of the advantages of buying books (not commentaries) from Logos was that then they could be linked in someway so that when looking at a passage you would know that you had a book that dealt with that passage. However, I cannot find that there is any link between the books and the bible text. I have specifically looked

  • Mobile app almost unusable

The older mobile app had very limited features, but at least they worked. It seems the current iOS version has bugs that just make it unusable. The app just freezes sometimes. It seems most of the time it is when wifi is present but limited. It is way too dependent on the a connection, with the biggest impact being the lack of offline resources. Reading

  • Notes in iPhone app

It seems the general principle should be that mobile features mirror the desktop since so many of us use these products on our mobile apps as much or more than on the desktop. So several things are particularly annoying: You can't manage anchors or multiple anchors You can't add tags or even see tags you can't edit existing notes

  • Personal Books

I am brand new to Logos 4 and so this may be an ignorant question. I have looked through the forums and the Wiki and can't seem to find the answer. Personal books intrigue me and seem to have many uses. However, I find a higher level explanation a missing element. Everything I have seen assumes you know what is meant by milestones, and what they do

I have almost experimented and hidden resources for your PC don't hide on the mobile app, at least the phone app. I don't know about the ipad app. I appreciate all the resources that are available for Logos 4, but the functions for managing them are seriously deficient and behind the volume of resources. It seems that logically there are several kinds

  • Perseus overload!!

I'm sure this is valuable stuff but what an overload if you don't know all the ancient languages represented in collection. This collection highlights one of the largest flaws in Logos 4. With thousands of items in Latin etc. a lack of the ability to hide or remove groups of items makes this collection almost impossible to deal with. It swamps every
