  • Re: New Bug in Text Selection on 6.0b 6.0.2.0042?

I'm was not aware of that panel and never used it. So my problem is not because that panel is open. I have always used the right click method on highlighted text. And the process of highlighting is where I cannot control what is highlighted

  • [resolved] Using tags in Personal notes

There is the ability to add tags to Notes, which seems as if it would allow you to set up multiple search terms for a note. However I don't seem to be able to find out how to search on them, and so that raises the fundamental question, what was the design intent. I can't figure it out. This program badly needs multiple search terms for personal notes

  • Re: Offline Exegesis / Reverse Interlinear

I feel your pain. I travel internationally about 40% of the time, and either connections are not available (airplaines e.g.) or they are so expensive you can't afford to use them. I think Logos has been slow to realize that the mobile world is the future. And no the mobile app is not free, we pay thousands for resources libraries and it is just one

  • Notes Architecture Flaw

I am posting this not to be critical, but to offer a perspective for consideration. I have so much invested in these resources that I really want Logos to be successful. It seems the basic architecture of Notes is quite limiting. Each note is associated with one and only one subject (not sure that is the right term). As a result there are at least two

  • Notes and Tags

I had originally posted on this topic several years ago and never really go any answers so gave up. Someone just posted again, so reminded me how much notes could be truly useful. So here are a few questions that I cannot find answered anywhere. What is Notes designed for? I can't figure out how to search them. They are useful to me right now only when

  • Re: Notes and tags

Seems promising but I cannot get this to work. I have tags on various notes, and when I use this form of search I get nothing. I'm searching in the Windows version as this example doesn't appear to be about the mobile version and there doesn't appear to be any dialog in that version. I have Logos ver 7.6. Does this only work with a subscription service

  • Re: Logos Library is Amazing, Mobile use is not.

This is without doubt the worst aspect of the system. It has been brought up over and over. The earlier comments were "what do you expect from a free product". I think they have been extremely slow to recognize that mobile is the product for many people. I guessing the architecture doesn't take that into account and so it is a difficult thing to solve

  • Re: Logos Library is Amazing, Mobile use is not.

I agree this is one of the most irritating things about the mobile app and it has been raised numerous times over several versions, but no one is listening. I travel internationally a lot, and so you are dead the whole time you are traveling. The capacity problem could easily be solved by simply having an option about features and resources to download

  • Notes don't appear in mobile app

I have notes in the desktop version that don't seem at all visible in the mobile app. I manually made sure it was fully synced, but nothing. Any clues?

  • Reading plan in iPhone app

There is a very irritating bug in the reading plan on the iPhone. I use the reading plan which takes passages from the Wisdom literature, from the OT, from the NT etc. each day. It starts out fine and you can navigate, but by about the third movement to a new section the navigation just disappears and you can't see what portion you are to be reading

  • Re: Notes and tags

thanks for the explanation, I had not been able to find out how to search for tags before. I still find it a puzzling feature that has so much more power than is presently designed. I sure would be good to get this kind of result in topic search so you searched not only your purchased resources but the ones your had added as well. I'm curious about

  • Gesture to find passage guide

I'm not sure when I lost it, but used to be able to do a swipe and access PG and commentary resources in the apple apps. Now it appears you have to go through layers of options to get there. Am I missing something or is there still a fast way to access within the context of a passage?

thanks so much. It was driving me nuts and I would never have thought to look for the setting under that symbol and had looked everyplace I could think of. This is a big help.

  • Product choices seem confusing

I'm currently using v6 which originally started as gold under ver 4 and was upgraded since along with many book purchases. Right now I am not really looking to add additional resources. I can't really find anything that explains the difference between these concepts and why I should think they are useful: Feature set Starter Set Monthly rental Of course

  • Re: Upgrading to Logos 7 as economically as possible

so is this an accurate statement? That means that if you don't want additional resources then there is no reason to upgrade at all. I have yet to figure out what would get me to spend some $. I naturally assumed the engine was somehow different, better?
